In-game Name:

Stolas
Rank:

Resident Medical Scientist

Idea:

SCP 999 has shown to have regenerative abilities, lets see how far we can stretch this
Basic Description of what you will do:

I will cut off various appendages and see if they can be attached using a dab of 999
Hypothesis:

I mean, it might work. probably. maybe.

Observations (can be a video or audio):

*a faint "plop" is heard*

RMS Stolas: ooohhh, um... yeah...

D-8265: whats that?

RMS Stolas: It uh... seems you're not going to have a hand anymore

SEC OFC Joesef: *Gags*

D-8265:Thats fine, my thumb was starting to ache anyway

RMS Stolas: You-... You're fine with this?

D-8265: Yeah, i dont need a right hand, always gets in the way when I'm writing

Detailed description of what happened during the test:

After short observation of 999 and its abilities, I thought I had found the proverbial(If not literal) fountain of youth. After securing Myself a D-class, I headed to 999 CC to collect it, giving it one of my Reese's that has melted in my coat pocket because I had forgotten to take it out a week prior. I brought the D-class to the Surgery room and applied top grade Painkillers to his entire arm, numbing it to the point he said it felt more like a dead snake tied to his shoulder. I then proceeded to slice off his index finger, quickly taking a scoop out of 999 with the gravy ladle I had borrowed from the kitchen and dipping the sliced end of the finger into it like it was fried chicken and 999 was orange chicken sauce, before placing the finger back in its spot. After a moment, I let go, and the finger stayed in place. Overjoyed, I quickly sliced off his entire hand at the wrist, discarding the ladle and simply dumping the entire hand into 999 directly. 999 recoiled away from me and the Security officer who was escorting me displayed incredible unprofessionalism by nearly vomiting on the surgery room floor. I took the hand out and reattached the hand, but this time when I let  go, it simply fell to the floor. the class-D was fine with this, I'm assuming because of 999's effects on the moods of sentient beings. i decided to cut the experiment here before any real damage could be done. I managed the severed wrist and administered class A amnestics to the d-class, who afterwards I insisted never really had a right hand. the Security officer also insisted in amnestize him, a request I denied, someone has to be witness to my genius.

addendum [a]: We will need maintenance to clean up the vomit on the floors of medbay.

Conclusion:

Perhaps 999 did not see the injury as great enough to warrant needing healing
Was Your Hypothesis Correct?:

In a way, yes, but more testing will be required
What did you learn?:

If 999 doesn't realize the severity of an injury, it will have the consistency and holding power roughly that of Elmers glue.
How Can This Benefit Medical?:

Pending further testing, only time will tell.
