Background Research: SCP-939 are endothermic pack based predators resembling large lizard/dog hybrids. SCP-939 lacks many vital organs. SCP-939 are capable of imitating human speech to lure prey. They have no eyes and detect prey through vibrations of the air on spines on their back. SCP-939 exhales small traces of class C amnestics designated AMN-C227. This amnestic is capable of causing mild hallucinations, disorientation, and mild memory loss. SCP-049 is a humanoid entity that appears to be a medieval plague doctor. The clothes and mask that 049 wears appear to have grown directly out of the body of SCP-049. 049 does appear to have a humanoid skeletal structure underneath as revealed by X-ray. Due to the ambiguity surrounding the anatomy of SCP-049 the amnestic effect from SCP-939. Hypothesis: AMN-C227 will most likely affect SCP-049 as he is a humanoid entity with a humanoid respiratory system. Observations: SCP-049 was escorted by 2 RIG Units into 939's CC. SCP-939 was restrained to the wall of the CC. 049 was instructed to not move in order to not provoke 939. After several minutes of breathing the air around SCP-939 SCP-049 was asked how he felt. 049 reported that he felt fine. When asked if he felt cognitively impaired and if he could recall medical procedures he reported that he was not impaired and noted nothing strange other than a bad smell coming from 939. The talking from 049 provoked SCP-939 and it broke free from its chains rushing towards 049. SCP-049 proceeded to [REDACTED] SCP-939. Test ended early. Analysis / Conclusion: SCP-049 appeared to now be affected by AMN-C227 from SCP-939. This provides further insight about the anomalous anatomy of SCP-049 beyond his physical appearance and garments. Another possible explanation is that 049 is immune to amnestics in general rather than having an anomolous respiratory system. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, SCP-049 was not affected whatsoever by AMN-C227 other than describing a slight foul odor (although this may not have been from AMN-C227.) Further study into the anatomy of SCP-049 recommended although may prove difficult due to the resilience of its robes.
