Star
SCP 1162 By: Dr. Karen J. Bright Object Class: Euclid Clearance Level: Level 1 | Unrestricted Description SCP-1162 a hole that can appear on any wall for short periods of time. The hole is 14.5 centimeters across and it’s depth is inconstant. The hole becomes anomalous once a sentient being reaches inside of the hole. Upon reaching inside the hole, they will be able to extract an item, that is small enough to fit inside the hole, from the hole. These items are usually recognized by the subject to be ones that they have recently lost in their past. Upon the retrieval of an item from the hole, one item that is currently on the subject will vanish. Any objects that are placed inside of the hole will disappear after they are no longer in contact with the subject. Lastly, it is noted that if SCP-1162 is not interacted with for at least 168 hours, it will shift to another wall; the farthest recorded relocation of SCP-1162 is 2,000 kilometers. Any attempts to view the hole from a different perspective or any attempts to destroy will cause it to relocate. Containment Procedures SCP-1162 is currently held in a room at Site - ██. It is to be guarded by at least one security member at all times and is to be locked behind a door with a Level One clearance lock. Re Containment Procedures If SCP-1162 relocates, an MTF Unit should search for it. Upon discovering where it’s new location is, a perimeter must be set up around SCP-1162 and must be monitored 24/7.
