Question / Idea: Can SCP 1048-A's scream make SCP 939 go deaf, therefore unable to see their victims?

Background Research: SCP-939 are endothermic, pack-based predators which display atrophy of various systems similar to troglobitic organisms. The skins of SCP-939 are highly permeable to moisture and translucent red, owing to a compound chemically similar to hemoglobin. SCP-939 average 2.2 meters tall standing upright and weigh an average of 250 kg, though weight is highly variable. Each of their four limbs end in three-fingered claws with a fourth, opposable digit, and are covered in setae which considerably augment climbing ability. Their heads are elongated, devoid of even vestigial eyes or eye sockets, and contain no brain casing. The jaws of SCP-939 are lined with red, faintly luminescent fang-like teeth, similar to those belonging to specimens of the genus Chauliodus, up to 6 cm in length, and encircled by heat-sensitive pit organs. Eye spots, sensitive to light and dark, run the length of their spined dorsal ridges. These spines may be up to 16 cm long and are believed to be sensitive to changes in air pressure and flow.

Hypothesis: SCP 1048-A's scream will make 939 either permanently or temporarily deaf and unable to see people moving near them.

Observations (What Happened During Test): SCP 1048-A was lowered into SCP 939's CC, TCM Squash then proceeded to shoot SCP 1048 causing the Previously prepared d class personnel to die due to SCP 1048-A screaming, After the scream, 939 rather distressed and confused, First we tried firing a gun near SCP 939, No reactions or interest in the sound of the gunfire from 939, Several stone were then tossed into SCP 939's CC and still no reaction from SCP 939, Yelling at it from the balcony also had no reaction from SCP 939, And as a final test, I jumped into SCP 939's cell mere feet away from SCP 939 and still no reaction from SCP 939, even running right next to SCP 939, SCP 939 had no reaction at all, Confirming that SCP 939 was deaf from SCP 1048-A screaming and no longer a threat, Rendering him almost harmless until he regains his hearing, Although he may never recover from the deafness and just stay deaf, Rendering him possibly eligible neutralized reclassification.

Conclusion: 939 has been either permanently or temporarily deaf, Rendering him harmless for the time being, If the deafness is permanent then 939 may need to be reclassified to a lower level or even neutralized.
