Backstory: Born in 30 BBY on the planet Vardos, Badger was thrown into the Prestigious, Future Imperial Leaders Military Preparatory School at a young age, but found both the attendees and the teachers extreme and violent, with little concern for friendly casualties in combat simulations and Badger allegedly hated the experience. As soon as he was given the opportunity, Badger fulfilled a job more befitting of his compassionate nature as a Military Medical Officer, entering the Medical Academy in 14 BBY. After finishing his extensive courses on Coruscant, Badger immediately signed up for front-line duties and joined the 224th Imperial Armoured Division during the Mimban Campaign in 10 BBY, with their Medical Detachment. In these conditions, Badger thrived as a Surgeon, saving many lives, however, noting that the omnipresence of mud didn't help create an abiotic environment in which wounds could be treated. After distinguishing himself as a Medic who could get the job done, Badger was recruited as the Company Medic for the 497th Reconnaissance Company after the demise of their previous Medic. Badger, much to his dismay was temporarily pulled off the front-line to be trained in Reconnaissance and ASSASSINATION. After returning from training, Badger put his newly learned skills to good use, saving the lives of several of his comrades, one such occasion being performing an ad-hoc Surgery on a wounded soldier behind enemy lines all the while avoiding enemy patrols. Notably, Badger was part of FIRETEAM INTREPID during OPERATION APPLEMIRE which involved the ASSASSINATION OF THE MLA CHIEF STRATEGIST. After suffering several wounds of his own in an unfortunate Blue-On-Blue incident in the closing stages of the Mimban Campaign [See Medical Record], Badger was withdrawn from front-line duty, and, after recovering in a Medical Facility on Alderaan, was transferred to the 69th Medical Corps, in which he continued to distinguish himself, eventually acquiring the rank of Commander of the 69th after the untimely demise of the previous command team.
