Form Title: [SCP-096] ~ Research (11/17/2019)

Rank: Associate Researcher

Clearance Level: 2

List of Personnel involved in testing: PVT God Ferda  & RCT (Forgot His name)

Level D personnel involved: Forgot Their Name...

SCP: 096

Errors and/or safety hazards: No, everything was perfectly fine during the testing. However, the amount of medical staff going in, and out of the room was a bit ridiculous.

Question: SCP - 096 known to many as shy guy, possesses the inherent ability of "indestructible" bones which is why in many cases it simply won't die. With this being said what would happen if I took a sample of bone marrow from 096, and gave it to a D Class? Hypothetically this is inhumane and could most likely result in death, as we don't know exactly what is inside 096, considering an autopsy was never done (obviously). However, I believe the "indestructible" bones have super fast stem cells at work making sure he can heal at a fast rate. Resulting in him regenerating his flesh, skin, and vital body organs. So, in theory which is the other option the D Class might gain the same abilities.

Background Research: http://www.scp-wiki.net/consequences-and-collarbones Even, though this may or may not be canon its a pretty intriguing concept, and definitely rings true about the indestructibility of the bones.

Hypothesis: If 096's bone marrow is extracted, and inserted into a D Class, then the subject will have an advanced body "indestructibility" .

Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): (In the future it will be included in the test log, but for now they are attatched at the bottom.)

Analysis and Conclusion:

STARTING TEST LOG

After meeting the MTF Operatives we proceeded to start making our way to SCP - 096's testing chamber. I can already feel my heart pounding, as I am imagining "it's" face from the... drawings, and "it's" past. To save time whilst we go in there I explained to the MTF Operatives that, "Each of you need to contain 096, obviously whilst I gather it's bone marr--". My explaining was quickly cut off from crying. I shivered not trying to think of the stories. We arrived at the door I looked up at the infamous picture of 096 with his back turned. I said with a sense of anxiety in my voice: "The die is cast". The MTF went inside, and I quickly followed suit. I tended to stand outside of 096's actual box, I closed the door once the MTF went inside to contain 096, and the door WILL NOT open until I hear a knock. The crying is all I heard.... like a broken record, playing over, and over again in my head. "It" was all I could think about..however, my thoughts were quickly cut off again by a man screaming, "Oh (Redacted)" which were quickly followed by loud screams coming from the monster, and the MTF Operative getting audibly.... torn.... apart. I thought that 096 was about to burst through the door. However, the exact opposite happened, and I heard a knock.. I exhaled, and opened the door to see 096 over a dismembered corpse with a bag over its head, and cuffs on. This is to be noted the other MTF Operative was completely unharmed during this containment procedure. I walked over to 096 with syringe in hand, and proceeded to gather the bone marrow from the rear pelvic bone. I quickly stood up, had the MTF body dragged out, and brought to the med bay for an autopsy (honestly didn't know what else to do with it). 096 was freed from the cuffs, and bag, we then made our way to D Block. Once arriving to D Block I walked up to the line where two D Class were very enthusiastic, and actually wanted to be taken. I took both of the D Class, and made my way to the med bay. Once arriving at D Block I was greeted by a Surgeon which I need, cause I was not of any sort capable of performing this. The surgeon had us follow him to a room in the back. He asked me very quickly, straight forward whilst glancing back and forth at the D Class, "So, what do you require of me?". I smiled, and explained in detail, "I have gathered bone marrow from, and brace for it.... 096" taking a quick breath, "now what I require of you is to take this here D Class" I pulled one of D Class to me by his clothes: "and inject it into him, in hopes that he gets some sort of "invincibility". The surgeon stared at me in disbelief, and sighed. The surgeon walked out of the room to get ready. During this time the D Class turned to my direction, and asked me: "What happens to me if this works, and what happens if it fails". I wanted him to remain calm so I decided to humor him, or so I thought with responding with a smirk on my face saying: "O if it fails? You will have something called Graft Failure which means your body does not like the bone marrow and 9 times outta ten you'll die". He stared at me expressionless, and I realized what I just said. The doctor came in ready for the bone marrow transplant. The surgeon had the D Class lie down as he hooked him up to vital machines to watch his heart, and blood pressure. He proceeded to inject the bone marrow into the subject. The surgeon stood up looked at me, and said, "Now we wait...".

15 Minutes Pass

The Surgeon checks his vitals, and gives me a thumbs up. I look at the D Class, but before I could speak he asks, "Yes I realize what you are going to say. Yes, I am fine. Nothing out of the ordinary.... just an old regular... "D Boi" as you put it."..... I realized the only way to truly tell is by inflicting some sort of pain. So I turned to the other D Class who dozed off during the entire procedure, "and that brings me to you" as I kicked him he shook awake looking around then back at me: "I need you to punch, or kick him hard enough to see if his bones break, and or don't." (I will now refer to the infected D-Class as 096-B) The D Class looked at me with confusion, most likely because I just asked him to inflict harm. This made me had a sudden epiphany noticing that the D-Class are human, and I just asked him to hurt, possibly even kill his "family" the only one he has for the matter. I looked up from my feet, and saw the MTF Operative aiming a gun at the D-Class, 096-B nodded to the D-Class to let him know it was okay. The D-Class kicked 096-B in the abdomen, which resulted in a large audible crack. I noticed the D-Class wincing in pain....... his foot had broke. A Nurse was called in to tend to the D Class. 096-B looked to unaffected by the kick, and with no bruises or anything. This does not prove anything, because pain has nothing to do with bone strength, and regenerative properties. I decided to just get unorthodox, and role a six sided dice with the hopes of it landing on a seven. I picked up a hammer placed 096-B's hand on a table and smashed it. Everyone in the room flinched back. 096-B screamed in pain, but once looking at his hand he noticed it was perfectly fine. I decided to ask him in advance, "Normally in a situation like this I really should notify my superiors, but I am really interested how "indestructible" are you really?" 096-B just shrugged, I had the operative shoot him in the abdomen. 096-B fell back into a wall, whilst blood was profusely coming out only one thought came into my head at the time, "f- (REDACTED)" I then noticed that 096-B was bleeding quite a lot of blood. At this time all medical personnel have left the room, and the other D-Class was sent back to D-Block. I noticed that he was shot in the abdominal aorta which a major artery in the abdomen. ......He bled out in seconds.

END TEST LOG

After Thoughts: I wish I did more research, and that he didn't just die like that. I believe more research should be done. To be completely honest it proved to be rather difficult to come up with ideas to test this "invincibility". So there may or may not be a continuation to this idea, judging on how it is graded by the foundation, and if it even requires it to be further researched.

Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes, whilst the research doesn't exactly match my hypothesis, it was still extremely close. 096-B and anyone who has 096's bone marrow injected into them will be known as, proved to be "invincible" to any blunt force. However, this did not affect the sensory receptors regarding pain. So whilst he wasn't completely invulnerable, in a way he was.

Grade: Quality

Lore: 15/20

In-lore, 096's bones cannot be broken by normal methods; it can only be broken by anomalous means (like peanut's neck snap). Therefore, the marrow shouldn't have been retrievable. Plus, 096 leaves no trace of the victim other than just a puddle of blood. Other than that, it's completely fine.

Creativity: 17/20

Injecting D-class with various bits of an SCP has been done time and time again, but at least it ain't blood or skin.

Presentation: 19.5/20

Presented mostly fine, half a point taken off for minor unprofessionalism.

Writing: 38/40

Minor grammatical issues. The biggest problem I saw was related to quotes. When quoting someone while already in quotes, you use '. (Here's an example: "I'm known better as a 'D-boy', but call me whatever you like")
