Today, 18 years ago, 343 FDNY Firefighters died on 9/11 attempting to evacuate the North and South Towers of the World Trade Centre. Today, 13 children of the 343 firefighters who died have just recently became Probationary Firefighters with the Fire Department of New York City. When 9/11 Occurred, God called upon the best firefighters in the world. On September 11th 2001 343 of NYC’s finest were called home by the lord himself to serve in Heaven’s Fire Department. If you are a first responder, today, we kneel for their families and the ones lost on 9/11. Tomorrow, we honor them by getting back on the truck. Rest In Peace 343. What you want to see? - I would like to a an official Rockford City Fire & Rescue Department Why should we add it? - I know that some people in the GamingLight community are first responders in real life, such as myself. These people work jobs as Doctors, Nurses, Police Officers, Military, and firefighters (both Volunteer and Professional). It would add another option for a government job where you are not on either side of the law (sorta like the EMS). What are the advantages of having this? - It will add more fun and realistic situations to the server. You will have more resons to call 911 if you are a civilian and a wider variety of calls for respond to for EMS and Police. For people who drive over cliffs, admins can rely on the FD for Trench/Water Rescue. For pursuits where the vehicle is destroyed, PD can rely on FD for Vehicle Fire responds, to come put the fires out. This job can add so many more situations to the RP Community including, but not limited to Medical Assists (delayed EMS Responds) , Car Fires, House Fires, Trench/Technical Rescue, Water Rescue, and Motor Vehicle Accidents.
