  1. Grapes STEAM_0:1:71124442 Maintenance Expert 0 Strikes received 0 Warnings on GL Probably about a 9 on the activity scale I believe I should become a maintenance command member because I'm very active, I follow the rules, and encourage others to as well. I also believe I have been doing well, moving through the ranks quite quickly and gaining the trust of others in command. I'm always trying to help some of the lower ranks, i.e. JM's and MJ's, kind of learn the ropes and show them how everything works. I'm very patient, and able to keep a level head when people aren't doing things they're supposed to be doing, meaning I wouldn't irrationally lash out at someone for breaking a rule. In the end I believe I would be a good fit for command member because; I follow rules, I believe I do a pretty good job doing my maintenance duties, and I have the patience and understanding to deal with people in a civil manner when they aren't doing things they're supposed to be doing. If a utility trainee has left the training room and refuses to return, assuming I have already tried my best to persuade him into coming back, I would politely tell him that I strongly suggest he either gets back in the room so I can train him or that I don't think he is currently a good fit for maintenance and that they should come back in a week and retry. If he persists and refuses to come back, /demote and and notify other FTO's of the situation and let them know not to train him for a week. If players are RDM'ing in bunks I would first evaluate the situation; what's going on, what time of day is it, how many people are active etc. If it's during peak hours I would tell them they shouldn't be doing that and recommend some things like doing an HCZ patrol, or some RP involving fixing some things around the site. I believe during off hours as long as the people who are being RDM'ed are involved and fine with it, I dont think any punishment is needed, people are having fun during off hours is how I see it. If the person RDM'ing is killing people who do not want to participate in the situation I'd first ask the person to stop and explain to them this person doesn't like what you're doing. If they persist I would escalate the issue with a verbal warning with potential of a branch strike if they continue. If things persist even further I would ensue punishment and possible recommendation of removal if the person shows no interest in following the rules. I would first stop the JM and ask if he/she knows the rules. I would encourage them to re-read the SOP just to be clear and ask them questions regarding rules, to make sure they read the content. If he passes my impromptu exam, I would send him on his way making sure he understand what he was doing is breaking the rules. He is only a JM he's new I don't think he should immediately get striked/punished. If he continues to do those things then I would escalate the situation to a verbal warning as he has been notified of wrongdoing and refused to comply. Further insubordination would result in a strike or a possible recommendation for removal depending on how far he continues on his path.
