Dispute: I understand making this alternate forums account is considered ban evasion, but I would like to state my case, rather than when I originally tried asking, I was instantly banned without getting a word in. Given that Gaminglight SMT are free to do as they please, I prefer that SMT Member Bop refrain from taking any action here as that shows bias. I would prefer to have the opinion of another SMT Member regarding this situation, meaning civilized discussion without instant repercussions (I hope).
Summary of Facts:
Yes, I deleted one document that was recovered approximately via 20 minutes later, as well as editing documents that I still had edit access to, due to Security HCMD's negligence in removing my edit access. When I was still Security DHOS, Rangiatea used to have ownership of a good portion (if not, all) of our Security documents, we were advised by SMT Member Hoovy to make backups, because one of our documents were already trashed by Rangiatea. We had to make backups of all of our documents that were all inevitably deleted. We were unable to recover two documents as a result of this. As far as we knew, no punishment was given to him.
We then approached SMT to push for a punishment of some kind that SMT could hand out to Rangiatea, but we were given the response "You're responsible for your own documents." Why wasn't he given a Community Blacklist as well?
Onto my second point;
Monk and Stabby recently were permanently blacklisted from Security, among other branches for collaborating with an alt account (ZJ). They then went into Security rooms to call people racial slurs, as well as micspam. I will provide here for proof. Also, no community blacklist there.
Lastly, I understand that this is an underhanded argument, but there is nothing in the rules that I have found that justifies a community blacklist for homophobia, or deleting documents. At the max, a permanent ban from the server, going off of the staff handbook for issuing ban lengths.
This is why I'm at the least requesting that my situation be looked at a little more and compared to other situations that have happened recently. Hopefully SMT can come together and make a decision to lessen the punishment.
