Why should we trust you with an Officer rank? I should be trusted with Officer because of the amount of time and energy I’ve invested into SF within such a short time frame. Not only will I continue in doing everything I can to bring people into SF I will make sure the current people are also taken care of. As a former officer in SF, I know what comes with the job and I am ready to take on the responsibilities I make sure that for example if I am the only one on and there are people willing to join SF, I do not avoid a tryout I do it immediately. I make sure that I am very patient with people new to flying and give them as much help as I can and make sure they know every opportunity in SF.
What can you do to assist command with this rank? I will assist command by helping in basic yet important SF activities like doing tryouts to keep a steady stream of people flowing into SF and Sims to keep everyone from being bored while also improving the most vital skills. I would like there to be fewer times when our enlisted are on for an event but know it is impossible to get a promotion because of a lack of officers online which may lead to a lack of motivation to play. Making sure SF stays a vital part of this ISD and showing high command that we care by having plenty of competent pilots that can assist in all situations is my number one priority to keep this Battalion alive. I want to do this by making sure that no question goes unanswered and by making sure that everyone knows that if they need help or want to learn about anything there are people they can depend on. What is the point of been an officer?: The point of being an officer is to give enlisted and NOCs every tool to succeed and to take as much off their higher-ups as possible. To do this means they need to be the best not only at stuff like space and ground combat but to also be teachers and be willing to help any SF without hesitation. Being an officer is not just getting a higher rank it is proving that you are dedicated to making SF enjoyable for everyone.
What would happen if you saw a fellow officer messing around and then commanding NCOs to mess around with him?: First I would talk to the NCO to make sure it was not just a joke or some kind of banter between them. After confirming it is not that I would talk to the NCO to make sure they know that it is not ok to do that and see if it was an honest mistake, if that was the case tell them not to do and avoid taking it any higher. If they knew it was wrong or they, did it again follow chain of command and inform my higher-up of the situation and see if they will take action against the officer.
Do you agree that if you are striked within the first week you will be put back down to the NCO rank? Yes.
