  1. Name: Rob Parker Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 012 Question / Idea: Would wrist restraints stop the viewer of SCP-012 from dying? Background Research: SCP-012 is a hand written musical score that appears to be incomplete. The previously thought red ink that it was written in has now been found to have been human blood from various individuals. Hypothesis: If the victim is restrained by their arms then they will be unable to do any serious bodily harm to themselves thus allowing for an easy method to restrain victims of SCP-012. Observations: After being briefed on the nature of this experiment, the D-class personnel was lead to the chamber of SCP-012 and promptly commanded to enter the containment chamber. The chamber the D-class was seen to have been cooperative until having presumably viewed SCP-012 in which case the D-class stopped reacting to the orders given to them and went behind the cognitoshield. What was heard was a series of grunts which developed into angered shouts. After a period of a couple seconds the D-class became silent. The D-class was found to have bleed out from the jugular veins located in neck when the security personnel retrieved the body. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: Unavailable Analysis / Conclusion: Results seemed to be due to the hands still given room to maneuver , allowing the D-class to still harm themselves and inevitably succumb to their injuries. Perhaps in a future test restraining the hands will also be used in order to address this issue. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, it was not.
