I mean like taught me what a pog champ was when I was a PVT in 31st. Dont get better than that. Good luck RJ. oh and also like

    -very active

-dedicated enough to get high command on multiple servers

-the most respected man on poggers phish besides ducks

  2. Name (which you most commonly use): Catfish

    First rank/character choice: Grievous

    Second rank/character choice: Jadus

Do you have any command experience? If so please explain:

    Was 31st VCMDR on ImperialRP

    How active can you be?

About an hour on weekdays, and around four hours on weekends. Might fluctuate slightly because of school.

Are you familiar with the Star wars universe and have played other Star wars related servers? If so please explain:

I have spent countless hours of experience in Gaminglight's ImperialRP bringing the battalion back from the grave. Star Wars has also been my favorite movie series ever since I was a kid.

Why do you want to become command?
Firstly, I absolutely love the Gaminglight community and everyone that plays on it. Being the commanding member of a group requires a delicate balance of maintaining happiness with your current members while also being kind and compassionate to those looking to join your group. I have always striven to be as friendly as possible to anyone that I meet and to hold myself to the highest standard when confronting someone. . Athough I have less time than others in command positions I feel that I have proved my worth as a leader and a role model for other players. Throughout my time on Gaminglight, command member or not, I have always made sure to put my best foot forward and make sure people know how things are supposed to be done. Whether that's in game or in real life I always strive to be the best I can be. Lastly, Id like to expand my knowledge of how to lead even further. The most interesting part of being a new command member is learning from others. Timmemes, an individual who I would say I have learned the most from, is always teaching me new things and helping me better myself.

Why should we pick you over your competitors?

What I lack in experience I make up for in leadership and problem solving skills. My biggest strength is my ability to solve complex problems. Whether it's a problem with a document or a problem with a member of a group I am always able to come to a discrete solution without an controversy.  I am capable, mature, and an excellent leader.

As in, being sarcastic on your own application doesn’t reflect well upon you.

PopBottle is relatively competent with his command, however, seeing these comments shows that little effort was put into the initial application.

    +/- Support overall.

+/- Support. Ok application, but arguing with people in the comments doesn't really shine a good light on yourself.

  4. I’m not a man of many words so I’ll keep it short

To be honest, I knew my time as a Vice Commander was going to be short. When the 31st battalion fell apart we needed someone who could fill the position for the time being. Now that our numbers are getting somewhat stronger it’s time that someone more qualified took over. That being said I have met so many great people during my time on GL. I’d definitely leave someone out so I’m not going to list names, but I’m sure that if I’ve ever talked to you that you’ve been nothing but kind.

    Super informal IK

    Goodbye Everyone,

  5. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) and your SteamID

    Catfish  Steam_0:1:197783188

    2. What Regiment are you VCMDR+ in?

    31st Demolition

    3. Why do you want to stay as a (vice) commander of this branch?

As of now the 31st are not the most active battalion. We have severe shortages in players, and some of the people we do have in our battalion aren’t exactly the perfect roll models. Now more than ever we need people that can lead, and that’s what I’ve been doing ever since I received the rank of VCMDR. I want to stay as the vice commander of the 31st so I can continue to make the battalion a better place.

    4. How active are you on the server (include timezone)?

Very active: I’m usually on for a lot of the day unless I have IRL commitments

    5. How active would you say your battalion is? If it is inactive, what are you doing to fix this?

The 31st have recently been increasing activity. This has mostly been attributed to our wonderful Officers, and our MSGT Epsilon who we have been so blessed to receive. Not only have we increased our numbers, but have also cracked down on the people that don’t deserve to be in the battalion. We just requested a battalion update in hopes to continue the enthusiasm and activity.

  6. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) :

    31st ADTVL MAJ Catfish 4899

What Regiment are you applying for?

    31st Demolition/Engineering

Why do you want to be a Vice Commander of this branch?

I’ve never been in another battalion before the 31st. For all of the three months I’ve been playing I’ve never known anything different. Seeing the leaders before me has inspired me to climb the ranks and become one myself. Doing things like leading the 31st into battle, running SIMS, and making the battalion is running smoothly is something I’ve always known I wanted to do.

How much game time do you have on the server?

Total playtime is around 2-2.5 months

What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch?

The main purpose of a commander for me is divided up into two sections. The first is making sure you are keeping the battalion up to date. Making sure that documents are kept up to date and rolling out announcements to tell members what is happening . The second section of being a commander is the more personal side. Making sure trainings are going smoothly, making sure troops are having a good time, resolving issues for people, being a voice for the battalion. As a commander you want to make sure the people you are leading agree that you should lead them.

Why should we trust you to be a commander? :

    Hard Work and Dedication

Throughout my time in the 31st I have been hard at work. When 31st player counts fell I stuck with the battalion. I was the lead trainer when we needed more personnel. I was the main contributor during events. I never gave up on the 31st no matter what. When most people are promoted to an officer rank they tend to give up on things like training or events however when I received 2LT I immediately got to work. I trained more people than ever. I kept our skills sharp entering us in every SIM that was run. I put in the effort in every possible place I could to make sure that we were thriving

    Leadership and Betterment

An essential part of being a vice commander is making sure that those below you are trained to do their job right, and that they are adequately rewarded for doing so. During my time as an officer I have never gotten mad at a trooper for doing something wrong. I actively encourage people to ask for help if they don't understand something, and I am a firm believer in the fact that getting frustrated doesn’t better anyone but that it actually makes people worse. Sometimes the initial recruitment phase of training isn't enough, and that is why I am always on the lookout for mistakes that can be corrected.

A huge part of being a leader is setting a good example for those around you. The best way to learn something is by example. If the leaders aren't being serious it sets a precedent for those in the lower ranks. Even the slightest slip up will be noticed which makes it vital for a leader to be perfect in everything they do. Making sure those below you understand the difference in right and wrong is the key to a good battalion. Not is important for you to be a good role model yourself, but to simultaneously make sure that others in high positions are setting good examples themselves.

How often can you be Online? :

I can be online whenever needed, however normally I am on for around two to three hours a day.

Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) :

I have no warnings on ImperialRP. I do have one warning on MilitaryRP for firing a round during an event
