Advanced Dupe 2 Tutorial 2021

Advanced Duplicator 2 is a tool that allows you to save built creations permanently in your gmod files! Below are steps on how to properly use it.

Before following the steps, if you are playing singleplayer, you will need to subscribe to the addon here.

1. The first step is completely up to you! Build your creation (Hopefully better than mine)

2. Once you are finished building, Hold Q to open up the spawn menu

3. On the right-hand side, select the tool "Weld" under the Constraints tab

4. Left click on one prop to start the weld, and click on a second prop to complete it. You can weld one prop to all of the separate props, or if you have a larger build, you can use Area Copy (See Below)

5. Once you have welded your props together, navigate to the tool "Advanced Duplicator 2" under the construction tab

6. Right-click on any of the props you have welded together to create a ghosted copy of your creation.

7. Hold "Q" and hover over the "Advanced Duplicator 2-" folder, located in the Advanced Dupe 2 menu on the right. Right-click and select "Save."

7. Choose a file name and a description!

Advanced Duplicator 2 Area Copy & Check Boxes

To Area copy, you need to hold shift and right-click, and then right-click again to copy the area!

* Paste at original position - Pastes the duplication at the very first place you copied it

* Paste with constraints - Paste the duplication with all welds attached (TURN THIS ON!)

* Unfreeze all after paste - Pretty simple... (TURN THIS OFF!)
