Question / Idea: Does SCP-610 or SCP-610-2 is affected by UV light in any shape or form?
Background Research: SCP-610 is a highly infectious and dangerous virus, which gained him the Keter classification. Original SCP-610 instance is able to infect new hosts which are designated as SCP-610-2.
Hypothesis: SCP-610 will be able to ignore most, if not all, levels of UV light.

Observations:
RIG Unit Luci, who for the majority of the test manned the control panel responsible for intensifying UV light in SCP-610's containment chamber, brought one (1) D class personnel to gain a new host of SCP-610. Shortly after UV lights were activating in the room.
The first level of UV light did nothing, both instances were able to ignore it as if nothing changed.
The second level was quite similar with no visible changes occurring, however, the instance of SCP-610-2 approached SCP-610 very closely, possibly communicating with it. The possible topic of this communicating, or what was spoken remains unknown.
The third level showed some changes in SCP-610-2's behavior. It seems to slow it down by half as it walked circles in the containment chamber, repeating the same route multiple times. SCP-610 remained unchanged with normal behavior patterns taking place. It was seen observing the SCP-610-2 instance.
The fourth level, which can be considered dangerous had some effects on SCP-610-2 but said instance died soon after. At this point in SCP-610's behavior was changed. It could be seen to move violently as if trying to get as much of the light on its skin. SCP-610 enjoyed the presence of UV lights but it is unknown if it gained any additional properties due to the exposure to it.
The fifth level, which is a deadly one, was not all too different than the previous one, with SCP-610 behaving very similarly. However, skin tissue of SCP-610 seemed to be affected, the effects of it very negligible.

Analysis / Conclusion: UV light has some effects on both instances, however further research is needed as properties observed during this test were only visual. While SCP-610-2 seemed to be negatively affected by it, the SCP-610 was the opposite to it and it took longer exposure of higher levels for SCP-610's behavior to start changing.
Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: It kind of was, as SCP-610 ignored most of the said levels, however, due to observation I dare to say that my hypothesis was incorrect.

Pros:

  • The creativity is great with the test idea
  • Format was completely followed

Cons/improvements:

  • The background info could be a snippet of the wiki
  • The log was short, so you could elaborate a bit more on certain points
  • The red coloring is kind of distracting
