Question: What effect will SCP-1162 have on the mind of an individual who has not been previously exposed without activating the SCP. Background Research: SCP-1162 upon activation usually produces small trinkets or objects that the subject had previously lost. We are unable to clearly see into SCP-1162, so being able to see the object inside is an impossibility. Hypothesis: The patient will feel a sense of longing, but will be unable to satisfy the want due to being instructed not to actually reach in and activate the SCP. Analysis and Conclusion: The patient felt cheated when told he was unable to reach in. He was previously unexposed to SCP-1162, but immediately felt like he had lost something. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Hypothesis proved correct. The patient felt longing and was saddened when he was unable to satisfy the urge to reach into SCP-1162.
