Recyclops
Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: Junior Researcher Finnegan (myself), Gensec LCPL Neko Wafer Level D personnel involved: D 3025 SCP: 999 Errors and/or safety hazards: D-Class subject is was ruled suicidal and posed a safety hazard to themselves. Question: Can SCP-999's positive influence treat a severely depressed patient? Background Research: SCP-999 is known to have a positive effect on the morale of those around him, and can be seen interacting with human beings in a positive way. Hypothesis: SCP-999 can create a positive mental health effect upon severely depressed and suicidal humans. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-999 played with the Class-D for several minutes, trading candy with him, jumping on him, and generally amusing D 3025. After a few minutes SCP 999 ended the session and wandered off. SCP 999 was given some candy as a reward. D 3025 was taken to the medbay for an examination (all was normal) and a mental health "check up" where D 3025 stated that he was no longer suicidal. D 3025 was given amnesiacs and returned to D-Block. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes. I believe that SCP-999 can be used as a positive therapeutical tool for Foundation staff in scheduled therapy sessions.
