What is your name?: Lucky What is your rank?: Elite Pilot How long have you been a NCO?: Since 8/19 What rank are you applying for?: Flight Lieutenant How many strikes do you have? If yes, for what?: None Why should we trust you with an Officer rank?: I believe I should be trusted as an Officer from my general effort put into Gladius / SF in general. I have shown to be on whenever needed and at important times. I have not had one situation where the command has been angry or disapproving of anything. I am considerably active for working on top of being a Senior in Highschool. I can handle the NCO expectations easily. SIMs I find genuinely fun so that’s a +1 to encouragement. What can you do to assist command with this rank?: Anything and everything. I believe that by becoming an Officer I can achieve bigger things for not only myself but also the battalion. The fun all of the boys have in SF makes the battalion what it is and keeps a lot of us invested. Command can be more relaxed with the Gladius Sub Squadron with my new appointment to GSL. With the rank of officer I expand my permissions to fill positions, do flag ups, encourage tryouts, and the creation of SIMs. Also when it comes to handling disputes, I am quite reasonable and not quick to judge without hearing both sides of a story. I’ve been tasked with situations before in Nova as well as in other servers, and I handled them in my own way without anyone above my rank hearing a peep. What is the point of being an officer?: The Officer Corps is the Brains of the battalion. Officers are to encourage NCOs to hit quota and entice them to be on day after day. An Officer is to have respect for the people below you but also keep things in order without power tripping. Officers provide opportunities for enlisted to hop on and NCOs to host tryouts. What would happen if you see a fellow officer messing around and then commanding NCOs to mess around with him?: Follow CoC. Usually for situations like this it is better to be taken straight to command to deal with instead of trying to bicker with them about the rank you have. The NCOs should know better at that point as well but the officer should have heavy reparations. Moral of the story, try to get the proof and witnesses necessary and get in contact with Command/Senior Officers Do you agree that if you are struck within the first week you will be put back down to your last NCO rank?: Yes

While the blaster thing does make sense, theres work arounds to that. Its not a significant amount of reduced damage. The hud now is good yes, it is a similar hud and this plugin is far more optimized than the current one. Its also not an LFS add on, it will replace the current LFS. The HUD stuff is more of a QOL thing for pilots. Coming from someone who flies with Auras LFS and the current LFS, Auras is smoother and more optimized. Icefuse is able to bang out like 8-9 people flying with this addon while drop pods and NPCs are spawned.

What is your name?: Lucky What is your rank?: Technical Pilot How long have you been an Enlisted?: 8/14 What rank are you applying for?: Senior Pilot How many strikes do you have? And why do you have the strikes if you do?: None. Why should we trust you with a NCO rank?: I should be trusted because I have shown to be competent and active on the server. Ive shown that I dont abuse spawns or other perms. I am active, and experienced. I have been a Nova Officer previously, Starch can confirm. I currently have a schedule for work in the mornings and then school. I am finished by 4 PM EST and I am on afterwards all the time. I expect the best from myself and putting others above myself. I plan to do a lot for Gladius/Onxy/SF. What can you do to assist Officers with this rank?: Anything an NCO does, I am trying to push myself to go far in SFC. I can recruit, do subsquad tryouts, make sure roster updates happen, make sure SIMS/Trainings are done often for the activity of SFC. What is the main purpose of an NCO?: An NCO is a leader, we are to set examples for our enlisted corps and recruit as much as possible. Maintain activity for yourself but also the rest of the squadron by promoting SIMS with rewards such as promotions or GC. Overall an NCO is one of the main show of a battalion. Question, what would happen if you see a enlisted not following orders and they are messing around?: I would inform them first off and tell them to knock it off. If it continues I can either PT them or just strike them depending on the severity. Punishment would be given out accordingly, I'm not here to trip on power I like things fair. Do you agree that if you are struck within the first week you will be put back down to your last Enlisted rank?: Yes.

What do you want to see?: I am suggesting an overhaul to our current LFS System, via Aura's LFS Overhaul. It adds in multiple ever so needed quality of life changes to help not only our pilots, but also our engineer operators by fixing things such as blaster damage to vehicles, making it a lot more realistic in terms of small arms doing little to no damage to tanks and aircraft, as well as HUD updates to make gameplay more immersive and informative to the player. Why should we add it?: This addition helps to make gameplay for pilots and engineers more appealing and overall more functional. As a long time pilot, I can personally say as far as LFS goes we are still very much so within the stone age. Some of the major benefits I will quickly list below In-flight HUD with Throttle monitor, Altitude meter, and pitch scroller Voice line / sound interactions for certain things happening, such as shields running out, shields back to max, health below 50%, primary or secondary ammo depleted, ship health at 0, and enemy ship activating (engine turning on) Blasters do less damage to LFS vehicles, as would be more realistic, a ship shooting another ship would do a lot of damage, a small blaster would not do much, also this will allow for people to make special ion rounds for LFS vehicles to do more damage Alert menu for important information such as ship health percent shown below 50%, and ammo or shields depleted Crosshair update to show friend ship pilot names so you can tell who is flying what, distance meter and visual effect for targeted ship (ship target designated by ship pointing towards, or crosshair over a ship) Added feature to allow players to roll with their vehicles, so if your vehicle turns left or right rolling, the camera rolls with it, so you can have realistic flight simulation in vehicles Feature that shows admins and superadmins when a player changes an LFS property, such as AI team, or HP or anything like that, so now staff can know who (except other staff) has changed values, this can be used to see what player turned on a vehicle AI and catch minges, ect. A mini radar to the HUD of vehicles, this can be disabled obviously, but it is useful to tell when you have ships on your tail, or you just like to see the fighting from the not so safety of your ship New context menu settings menu! Hold C and hit Aura's LFS Settings to change it to your preferences Alert for when you have hostile AI on your tail, no more useless evasion when no one is even chasing you, now you can know if there are hostiles HP and shield bars as well as text boxes so you can really tell just how close you are to death! Config for superadmins, if you are a server owner, you can use the command !lfsConfig (caps don't matter) you can disable any settings clients can control, but for the whole playerbase, you can also disable a couple other settings for admin notifications, and damage changes What are the advantages of having this?: Now I know a common complaint will be "But this could cause server lag!", however I have seen this HUD used on servers similar to our size and with a similar tick rate and overall, its not all that different. In conclusion I believe this is the perfect addition to give our pilots more immersive flying and overall make it a lot better. Who is it mainly for?: Pilots / Vehicle Operators / Engineers Links to any content: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2049972569&searchtext=LFS+Overhaul (Edit: The blaster damage part can be removed/tampered with. This would overall be helpful for CAS when used but for blowing up the TIES not in use, I can see where there is conflict. Again it’s removable)
