Below is the exact same suggestion, which was denied by SMT back in August, the current system that we have has made the server have a much higher player count, removal of it would likely result in a drop in player numbers.

    - With the current appearance of the RSS, a CPL can look like a COL, which is slightly problematic on the battlefield.
    - Changing the NCO/Surgeon Model, although somewhat controversial, is understandable, since returning, I've seen a reduction in how many NCOs use the Medical Surgeon whitelist, in favour of sub-units, this doesn't mean the NCO whitelist isn't redundant, because the job comes with equipment the enlisted don't have.

    - Changing the NCO model means that, if an NCO wants to look "different" in some way, they are encouraged to join a sub-unit.

It seems I have been involved in this situation...

Yes, it is true that Talila was in fact in a PRIVATE call with me during my time as Admiral Garrick Versio.

I was in no way, shape, or form angry, annoyed or anywhere near pissed off with TaLila's behavior. It was all in good fun and is something that cannot be used against him since it was not taken as disturbing the RP and was taken well over 100 days ago...

This has gotten so messy that it's dragged poor Egag out of retirement.

Apologies Popbottle, but the evidence and statements here are far too condemning.

  4. What would you like to see:
    I would like to see an improved brig, and although an increase in size and whatnot would be brilliant, there are two main improvements that I would like to see;
    1) Making the cell doors see-through, like with glass or lasers.
    2) Making the button to open each cell right next to the cell itself instead of in a central terminal like it is now.

In addition to this, I propose some secondary, less essential improvements but these ones are more of a polite request and I don't want to further pressure SMT.
    1) The ability to lock down brig or lock the entrance to brig.
    2) Just some wider corridors, currently the cell block is only able to fit one person, widening the cell block corridor would mean better means of access.
Pictures below from a CWRP map will hopefully show this a bit better, I can provide other screenshots from other ImperialRP and CloneWarsRP maps but this map best shows what I'm trying to suggest.

    image.thumb.png.6225c6d7e7900180091616dbe7fa4375.png

^ In this photo, you can see a wide corridor of cells each with a see-through cell door and a release button next to it.

    image.thumb.png.9719372f164ec8aed83d70103a468296.png

^ In this photo, you can see a close-up shot of a singular brig cell, with the button for release on the right and the ability to see the inhabitants of the cell.

    image.thumb.png.4feec9d8c562dad427a6fd8284bd3d9c.png

^ The front of a brig; with lockdown controls to control who goes in and out and an "airlock system" just in case a prisoner makes a break for freedom.

How would it help the server and/or the player base:
Each of these ways it would help the server are in reference to the improvements suggested above and correspond to their numbers and sections.

    For the Main Improvements:

    1) The inclusion of see-through cell doors would mean that you could easily tell who is in each instead of guessing the prisoner's cell through listening for their voice, which is what Shock has to do right now.

    2) The inclusion of individual buttons next to each cell would mean that even an inexperienced Shock could easily release the right prisoner, instead of being forced to coordinate with another player just in case a minge is released.

    For the Secondary Improvements

    1) The ability to lock down brig, or at least to lock the cell block, would help the server as, in case of a high-value target being interrogated and held there it needs to be defended, or an influx or minges who have been glitching their way out of cells and a last line of defense is needed.

    2) Wider corridors of brig would simply make it easier for Shock to traverse the Brig and perform their roles well.

Do you think this suggestion will help the server as a whole:
Yes as the brig is a key part of the Ship, and without it, the ship wouldn't be truly whole, or if not beneficial to the whole server, it would benefit Shock greatly for having a better place to perform their roles.

If that's the Adam I think it is, He isn't here anymore...

This was former Head of Staff (?) Adam, the fact that Frosty was also banned on CWLifeRP (Which, by the time of it's creation, Adam had long-since retired from SMT) implies that this is more of a community blacklist, but I'm not sure.

I'd like to know the contents of these messages before I form an opinion on them.

    - I'd admit that it'd be inconvenient sometimes to press a button to open every door, so what I propose is that for battalion bunks or doors that a lot of people are going to use, make them automatically open like we have now, but lesser-used doors to like vents or individual offices could be given buttons instead.

  7. + Support

    - I'm in favour of the addition of some vents that would provide easy access for Havoc to move around, and it would also provide means to get to the Engine Room when the power has been turned-off, much like how we do now.

    However

Like the responses listed above, vents that span the entirety of the ship would make it much easier for minges to disappear from Shock.

TL;DR, I'm up for vents, but not ship-wide ones.

    - Medbay gets very crowded very quickly, so more space would mean more efficient Medical RP and making Medical a more appealing battalion to join.
    - Another thing I'd like to suggest is the ability to
physically lock-down the Medbay, instead of having to post a trooper at the door to stop people coming in when there's a tryout or classified actions are taking place.

Attached are some examples from CWRP and ImpRP maps that have larger medbays.

    image.thumb.png.e13f9349e67b4626c9477771110e0a28.png

^ A locked-down medbay, being phyically locked by a laser barrier.

    image.thumb.png.0116033e59ca3e91992351527ec57eea.png

^ A larger checkup area, each of these rooms on the left are individual check-up rooms, that would mean that Medical wouldn't have to shout over each other when there are multiple people having a checkup at once.

    image.thumb.png.f8cf19c18a2ae8915973048657793ec1.png

^ From another map, again, with small checkup rooms instead of one big room.

    image.thumb.png.9208cf49775a4457a7561ebcc38ed2f8.png

^ From the same map, with two surgery rooms and an observation deck in-between.

I apologise for the size of this post and it's clear that the items shown in these photos would be incredibly difficult to implement, so don't feel pressured to implement them, I'm just using these screenshots to show how they might be implemented.

Completely unnecessary. Would waste a lot of GM and Admin time making it happen. If anything, the maintenance ladder area behind 501st bunks should be your "area."

But making a janitor bunks means Chefs need one, and Bounty Hunters need their own space, and so on.

    Doesn't make any sense honestly.

But the thing is, last time I checked, it's very easy to set spawns, any Admin+ can do it and there doesn't have to be a textscreen in-front of it, they just need a place to spawn, so it wouldn't waste time, and if the other level classes need bunks too, then give them it, there are plenty of spare bunk rooms to go around, the only battalion that actually uses them is Medical.

Give the poor guys a place to live, it's not like we don't have the space.

  10. It's certainly an interesting concept, but the -Supports above explain why it wouldn't be the best idea, however, a 'training exercise' for a few days on another map or something similar would be pretty cool, however, it's likely that player numbers would dwindle in that time.

    - Support

I'd suggest fleshing-out the suggestion first and seeing how it would work first, but I'm liking the idea.
