I've known John for a long time. He is one of the most helpful, kindest person I know on Gaminglight. He takes roleplay seriously, and is an amazing command member. When I think of the abstract of what a staff member should be, John exemplifies it.

Governments and Criminals will never have an equal advantage when
Government
- Manpower over criminal most of the time
- More armor
- Heavier guns / Equipment (Gas, Nova, Shields, Breaching charges)
- Police being as fast as Usain Bolt

- Good Base
- 1 or 2 MG (very high recoil)
I think it supposes to be challenging and fun for all. I think it's the frustration is what makes it part of it fun like playing super Nintendo 2d platform games like Super Mario. If we make it too easy then it not fun for anyone anymore. That why during Valk era when Government was really Overpowered made players go down a lot (From rank 13th down to 88th place). No matter what anyone does or how many times rules change, we gonna have people complain left and right from Criminal and Government.

The economy was reset because people had close too 75 million why would you ever need that much money it only makes the economy unstable and unfriendly to new players. It wasn’t some way for zeeptin to con people into spending more money on the server. Zeeptin isn’t like that it was honestly unfair to have new players starting at 50k and millions just be getting handed out. Including we have also removed some really old money making techniques like afk bitcoin mining and replaced them so now that everything got reset there is a purpose to actually play on the server. Hope you understand.

I was giving then a gun to inv then sassi comes up and tazes us and says we have guns we had the crates so it could have been anything it could of been a wrench but he didn't want to RP and just tried to arrest us because i was helping some friends out. if there want a floting gun over the box there would have been no way he would of known there was a gun
Lets remember the widely accepted definition of metagaming in the gaming community:
Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game.
This is garrysmod where you can see the gun float. It's not a "but real life" situation, it's in plain view and a part of the game. He at no point used information that surpasses the normal limits of the game, also he never used external means to see that gun to gain an advantage or information. By definition he did not metagame. It is simply a property of the game that a gun crate and has a floating gun and is a gun crate.
Do we call it metagame when someone is arrested for attempting to lockpick a door? I mean that crowbar could be "used for anything"?
Do we call it metagame when a gundealer gets arrested for dealing crates without a license? I mean that gun crate could "have anything"?
You through out a gun crate in plain view to your friend, no matter what the intention was, and trying to claim anything else is disingenuous, and I expected more.

Besides, there’s a bunch of cars like the taho already in and a couple civ chargers already in the content pack.

Would add more entry level cars to increase roleplay. Although the speed nerf would be unneeded.

You loose a lot of money if you don't mine for 2+ hours. So I think that even if it is causing the lag, people will eventually stop using it, as it isn't worth it, and also requires a ton of work (feeding fuel every 45 seconds for 1000 per fuel)

What about the blood & crips. Senseless killings, but they are still in the server as they add to the RP experience. Same with this, its essentially a tight-knit mafia
The crips are known for dealing drugs and fighting the bloods. The bloods were made in response to the crips growing power. MS13 preys on innocent people simply because of their race. I mean hell you're censoring the brutal torture and murder, and the "Devilish" parts to try to rationalize it with black on black primarily drug gangs. -
First I'm making this very professional making sure no minges are allowed in, plus this runs on a 1 Strike system, Second, I didn't include the really "Devilish" side of MS13 in it and if we're being honest Crips and Blood have done things as bad, but they're not removed. I'm just trying to make this an Rp-Group and not super serious RP as you mentioned Dashiell, the only difference between this family and other families is that we are very organized and have ranks. I am trying my very best to not recruit minges and requiring people to have 1+ day in game. If this gets to mingey or to the point of what Dashiell said, i will immediately disband MS13/Remove those players.
You seemed to miss the entire point of my post. The point of my post was that it is disrespectful to the countless victims of this gang to create a virtual organized gang in the same name and roleplay as them like what they've done is a joke.

I feel like there's a fine ethical line in roleplay where this is just too far. This is an organized crime group that does some of the most brutal things. Such as one case in maryland where they stabbed a man hundreds of times, then decapitated him, dismembered him, and ripped out his heart. Which although that sounds bad isn't the worst of this group and is a pretty routine killing. I mean these gang members are involved in child prostitution by using kidnapped and trafficked children and other unspeakable organized acts. You are disrespecting the memories of the victims of these gang members by turning it into a joke by roleplaying as them, honestly you are just despicable.

You know just because someone is an OFC doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated different, I mean hell we were all OFCs at a point would you want to do one thing wrong and get blacklisted.
I think this should of been taken to a SM+ for them to be corrected, or a on duty staff could have talked to them if roleplay was not an option, regardless in game. It's true the behavior is unacceptable, however unless they continue after being corrected I feel we should not blacklist OFCs because that is almost the same thing as permanently banning them, because they will almost always leave for good. Most of the time mingy ofcs are caused by no one taking them for a ride.
