Ein Posted October 31, 2022 Share Posted October 31, 2022 What are you suggesting? The addition of the PAC3 add-on as a donation rank benefit. How would this change better the server? The addition of PAC3 would allow for a lot more roleplay, and gives a lot more life to the server. It encourages world-building and really allows people to create their own characters. A researcher can give himself a fancy ID card clipped on, a Security Sergeant can add some more detail to his vest with a "Security" patch, and a MTF operative can add a pair of SCRAMBLE goggles for roleplay. It overall allows for a massive expansion on roleplay when the server desperately needs it.Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. There would need to be major updates to the MOTD and some hefty rules to prevent people from making inappropriate PAC3's, and could create a load of new staff sits. Additionally, once again, with the ability to import certain things from games (such as SCP: Secret Laboratory), it could cause performance issues. Who would this change mostly benefit? GamingLight could not handle this as a server load issue. Especially with inserted models and having a bunch of tiny bits and pieces added.
