I was staff 2 other times before this with only reaching the rank of moderator before resigning due to personnel issues. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) Forums account was created May 31st 2021, but I played the server roughly 1-2 months before then. What date did you make your forums account? NO Have you read the staff handbook? YES Timezone: EST What rank are you applying for? Senior ADMIN Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I believe I deserve the rank of Senior Admin for a couple of reasons. 1st, I have a ton of experience with staffing on Gaming Light. I was previously staff on gaming light and a part of the event team back in 2021. Then January 16th, 2022 I was accepted back into the staff team. I have climbed the ranks to admin and feel as if I am mature enough to hold the rank of Senior Admin. Secondly, I am a forums diplomat, This may not contribute in-game, but it contributes a lot of responsibility when it comes to monitoring the server as a whole. I know a lot about the server and have tons of experience with myself, achieving command in 4 branches which I currently only hold 1 which is CI as a LTCOL. This furthers the trust that I would not abuse the rank of Senior Admin. I know I have the responsibility to have the rank of Senior Admin as I am turning 18 next year and have been working for over 2 years. I feel as if I have balanced my time in the game and in person very well and have a fairly good schedule. Overall, I hope that you come to understand my points as to why I can hold the rank of Senior Admin and hope to further prove myself to achieve even higher ranks. Scenario questions: Select any two of the following four questions to answer for this section. Please note, in the scenario questions we are not expecting perfect answers. We are accessing your critical thinking skills, your ability to use the staff handbook, and come to reasonable conclusions. Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would being the Individual mass RDMing and first off try to calm them down, If they just keep cursing I would gag them. I would explain the situation to them then go and talk to the victim who had reported them. I would listen to both sides and check logs. If the logs match to MRDMING then I would talk to the accused individual and address the punishment that they will receive. First I would warn them for the infraction for example "MRDM x 7" I would then ban the individual for 5 days. I would then talk to the person who reported them and wrap up the sit by addressing that I have banned the person for MRDM and everything is resolved. I would then close the sit. Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? 5 players is a lot for 1 sit, If possible I would get the assistance of another staff member for better judgement but for the case I am by myself, I would split all 5 up and talk to them individually. Once I hear all the sides of the story I would check the logs or any evidence I have received through the sit and gather my best judgement to decide what punishment would occur. I would then try to ungag them and if its still toxic I would gag them again. Once I, and the other 5 feel that the sit has concluded I will let them go but I will then go on the admin job just to make sure they aren't still being toxic towards each other. Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? If the player does not care what so ever. I would tell him the warning cap's as in 10 warnings = 1 day ban 20 is 1 week, 30 is 1 month and 40 is perm ban. I would use this as a warning so the player does not continue just being warned over and over again. I would end up warning the player anyway depending on the rule and how they broke it adding NITRP to the warning. Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? Alright, as an example lets use the bug where you can sit, and glitch through checkpoints. Mainly people who abuse this are d-class. I would bring him/her and calmly ask what they did. I would obviously know what they did. If they are truthful about what they did and were genuinely honest that they had no idea that was an exploit and won't do it again I would let them slide with a verbal. If I release them and they go again to do the same exact thing, then I would warn them for exploiting and lying to staff. These sits could be handled 100 ways, but this is just how I usually handle them. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
