10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+):

I want to become a member of the Senior Command team as it has been a goal of mine to progress through the ranks of GENSEC. I want to become Senior Command as I believe that I can help the branch as a whole by increasing Activity and the amount of PTs Hosted. Ever since I was trusted with the rank of HOPO I have wanted to help increase the amount of activity overall in GENSEC by hosting better events. I am an active player on the server being able to dedicate at least 3 hours a day, I think that being senior command would help me improve these aspects more effectively. Additionally, I always make sure that the sub branches are also working well and well maintained. Personally, I would also like to help teach new WO and guide them through their new jobs and make sure that they understand what is expected of them. Furthermore, the job of Senior Command would help me combine many of my skills together and allow me to efficiently work as a Senior Command. I will make sure to help newer security to understand what we do here and make security a welcoming place and that they will enjoy being in security.

I will try my best to achieve everything possible like the rise of activity. I also want to achieve big things within security and I believe being Senior Command can assist me. In my opinion I believe that I am a suitable person for Senior Command. I want to be apart of the Senior command team because I want to be able to help the branch as whole. I believe I am able to be the Senior command to help if no one else is on due to the different time zones. I like to help people and make the game for them more enjoyable. It makes the game less enjoyable with people minging in security and I want to stop that and make sure that the people who are actually trying to prove themselves get properly noticed and shown that Security is always looking out for their members. Being Senior Command allows me to handle different Security reports in a different manner due to my new abilities I receive and also I am someone who can help guide the newer command members and help them understand what punishments people should get. Additionally, I believe that I am competent enough for the role and I will perform my role as a Senior Command at the best of my ability. Finally, I believe that as a Senior Command member due to my time zone being GMT, I can be their at certain times where others might not be able to. During this time, I can guide people who may be new to security or help people with certain ideas and stuff.

11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?:

First of all, I would ask the Security Officer for their reason of leaving D block. If their reason was valid such as: going on a patrol around LCZ or Going to Med bay and there was a suitable amount of Gensec in Dblock to Defend I would be understanding. However, I would mention for them to maybe space out the patrols and not do them constantly and switch with other Gensec and allow them to go on patrols. On the other hand, If their reason wasn't valid I would first of all give them a verbal warning making sure to mention that they should be in D block unless leaving with a valid reason. I would make sure to tell them about the valid reasons. If they kept leaving after that without any reason they would be removed from Gensec due to insubordination.

12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?:

Firstly I would make them explain their reason and why they think its acceptable to leave D block with that Reason. After that, I would talk with them and explain why their reason isn't valid and that they should not be leaving D block with that reason. If they follow my orders and start to leave D block with a valid reason then the problem would be solved. However, if they did not listen to me or ignored my talk with him by either not paying attention or just talking over me. I would explain to him that NCOs should not be acting like that as they are the ones who Enlisted are meant to look at for help first. I would issue them with a verbal warning at first to start listening to higher ups. If he continued to not listen then it would lead to a strike or further a demotion or removal from security. Also a DNT would be issued.

13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security?:

E-11 are unable to enter D block under any Circumstances. I would firstly make sure to tell him about that as he is new to the branch. If he does not listen to me and continues to command the security around with D-Block I would make sure to tell the security to not listen to the E-11 Private. I would then get evidence of him commanding all the security around and evidence of him being in D-Block and would report it to E-11 Command Where they will be able to deal with the private properly. I would also try to get another E-11 who is currently in game to come and tell him that he is not allowed to do what he is doing and try to make him stop. If it escalated any further I would then contact an admin about it.

14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words:
First of all, I would ask them to come with me to bunks in game. I would then congratulate them on their promotion and ask them to join a different teamspeak channel such as security room 2. I would firstly explain to them the role of what a NCO does and what we expect of them now that he has become an NCO. I would inform them on that he can call protocols on code orange and black now. I would then proceed to give them the NCO guide and read over each section properly. Making sure they understand each part. Then I would explain to them how that if enough Gensec are on. We should station people around LCZ and host patrols making sure to inform him what they can do at their current rank. I would explain to them how activity logs work next and show them examples so they understand how to format them and also make sure that he has a forums account. Finally, I would tell him that he can be trained for FTO and Sniper now and they are able to apply for WO when the applications are out. I would then give him the whitelist and ask if he has any final questions and answer them if needed. I would congratulate him one final time and then let him move back up.

Ven and I have climbed the ranks of Security together, and while he is only recently a Captain, he has been in Command just as long as me. His application is detailed, he is a member of both Wardens and Juggernaut command, and is generally a great guy to be around.

He absolutely is deserving of SCMD.

Keep in mind all of this WHILE he's in college still. Imagine how much he's gonna do when he is on break.. This guy is NEEDED in SCMD and definitely the best candidate we have.
