How often are you online on the forums? I'm online everyday easily, perhaps checking for new posts every hour or two when I'm awake. I'd say I spend about 30-40 minutes a day just looking around on the forums, at the least.

Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? For a start, whilst my 'forum activity' may seem to be low (only having a small amount of posts) I am more of a lurker than a poster on the forums. I'm unsure if you can check this, however I have read about 80% of posts that have been uploaded in the SCP-RP section in the last 30-60 days. I don't always comment on posts, whether it be because I don't feel I have anything to add, or I don't agree or disagree with the suggestion, but I always read it and understand it, allowing me to know what's going on with the community and being able to spot rule breakers. Along with this, I'm pretty well versed with the forum rules, and based on all of my time reading Forum Diplomat posts, reading forums posts, and looking through the handbook, I am extremely confident I could carry out the responsibilities and tasks of a Forum Diplomat with ease. Something else I think qualifies me for the role of Forum Diplomat is my experience, having been a web developer and moderator for multiple forums in the past year, I've enjoyed spending my time making posts on forums and also moderating rules on the forums, as I enjoy upholding these kinds of websites. I have a magnitude of experience with the task, having assisted in managing my workplace's extensive forums presence, and knowing all of the tools available to me as a moderator. I am also familiar with this specific forums layout, the Invision Community forums, and have worked with it in the past, making me one of the more experienced applicants as I know specifics about this forums system. All-in-all, whilst I may not seem to be the most engaged user on the forums, I actually have quite a lot of experience, and I do read a vast majority of forums posts. Usually, I would wait longer before applying for this position, however Talila made it clear to me that these applications don't open very often, so I wanted to take my chance while I could.

Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? I would consider myself to have pretty outstanding judgement and I don't think I show any signs of bias very often. For a start, I think I have shown this in my short time moderating for both Imperial and SCP, handling each sit in a very similar, uniform manner, no matter who was being warned. I am always quick to treat a regular Stormtrooper just the same as a Commander, so long as both have broken the same rule. However, a key situation in which I have shown my good judgement I believe would be at my work, where I had to make the tough choice to report one of my close friends for a breach of company policy. Whilst this person was a good friend of mine and I enjoyed their presence, I had to report them as they were being unsafe and likely to cause damage. I cannot really go into further detail due to policy, but I can assure you that the situation was dealt with and my report, whilst being a difficult decision, was the correct decision. I think throughout life I have shown good judgement, and I pride myself in never jumping to conclusions or decisions, and taking all the evidence in when considering a situation. I believe strongly in letting everyone have their say, show their evidence, and making all decisions fair and just, and I try to apply that to both real life and to Gaminglight.

How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? Firstly, I would reach out to the user through the forums messaging feature issuing a verbal warning telling them to stop spamming inappropriate topics, and that it would not help with their ban. I would inform them of where they could legitimately appeal their ban, and hide all of their posts, reporting it to the Head Forum Diplomat. In the case that the user continued, I would go to an SMT member or the Head Forum Diplomat, depending on who's available, to ask that the user be temporarily placed under Content Moderation. This would mean that any post they attempted to send would now have to be approved by the Forum Diplomat team. In addition to this, I would request a strike be made. I would again reach out to the user in this case and inform them of what has happened, and tell them that they will be removed from content moderation if they agreed to stop spamming. In the case they agree, I would get the Head Forum Diplomat to remove their moderation and they would last with a strike. In the case that I was dealing with this situation from a user report, I would make sure to follow procedure and inform the person who reported the situation that it had been handled, and how it had been handled, marking the case as closed.

How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? I would firstly post a Forum Diplomat message, issuing a friendly reminder to anyone reading the post that all responses should be kept to + or - supports, and any further arguing would lead to disciplinary action. After this, I would specifically reach out to the two users that are arguing that they should keep any and all arguments within DMs, and that any further arguing from them would be met with harsh punishment. I would also hide their arguments, due to their aggressive nature, and report this to the Head Forum Diplomat. In the case that arguing continued, I would firstly lock the post, leaving the warning appeal for SMT to deliberate on, and leave a Forum Diplomat message on the post indicating as such. I would hide the argumentative replies again (reporting this to the Head Forum Diplomat) and I would also reach out to the Head Forum Diplomat requesting a strike be applied to the arguing users, as I had clearly verbally warned them of the consequences if they were to continue arguing. I would continue to monitor the two on the website as well, ensuring they were both staying out of trouble and avoiding arguments. Any further arguments from the two would be immediately reported by myself to the Head Forum Diplomat.

I would just like to remind all reading that, whilst I may not be the most experienced staff member on the server, or even have been in the community that long, I request to be given a chance as I am extremely passionate for this role, and I am aware that this opportunity is a rare one that does not come around very often, hence why I applied so early on in my tenure as staff.

To be clear, I partially agree with this statement. As I said in my application, I am rather new to the staff team for this position, however I have been informed multiple times that Forum Diplomat is not an easy role to get due to how rarely the applications open up, and I hope that any person reading this understand my passion. I'm aware that I may be new to the staff team, but by the next time applications open up it may be even a year later. I'm really enthusiastic for this role and I believe I have the required skill-set to take on the challenge of being a Forum Diplomat, along with the experience, which is why I applied despite my short time in the staff team. I'd love a chance to work as a Forum Diplomat and I feel I'm a little unlucky with the timing of the applications opening, hence why I have to justify my lack of time spent as staff on SCP-RP
