Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes, of course 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes, of course 100% 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I know I can be a great security senior command member again. I have demonstrated I can be active, engaging, and personable. Also, my capacity to prepare and give people more opportunities will be one of my top priorities (AKA promos). I have shown that I serve punishments swiftly when they are deserved. The trust people have given me as low command has been tested, I have learned many things and made some errors; however, we all do. With errors being made early on I have ensured they will not be continual. I have learned a lot not only from other CMD but from my own past. I care significantly for the future of Gensec and individuals in it. From the people I train while being a DHFTO to the people in D-block that I over-see. As soon as I got DHFTO I took it upon myself to spend ten hours updating the documents for the benefit of all FTOs. I helped build and edited the FTO training video RIP. I believe with more responsibility I can make sure I employ all my skills to an even greater degree. Like everything I will do my absolute finest for security and give one hundred and ninety percent. Security is my core branch and the most valuable one to me. I try to be on the server for long periods of times and assist wherever needed, not only just in security but in other branches and when I am on them, I try to assist security whenever possible. I know together with mine and the other command members leadership we can continue to keep the facility safe. When I first joined the server and stood against security as a d-class I saw we had no chance against them. I wanted to be one of those people fighting to keep things safe. I promise to continue that regardless of the outcome of this application. Everyone in command helps us be great and deserves a promotion for one thing or another, we all do a great job, I just hope we can continue to do so. As it once was it shall be once again, I believe I was a great Major previously and would like the opportunity once again to prove myself to security and the server. I am prepared and willing to accept the responsibilities as a member of senior command again. I am excited to lead the next generation of CMD and WO’s. I am also EWD this time around, training and supporting people in Wardens. WARDENS LEAD THE WAY! 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I will ask them if they have NCO permission and what they were doing. If they did not have permission, I would explain to them that they need it, and that we need them to be in d-block as much as possible to assist with escorts and d-class. If I had already spoken to them I would remove them and put them on a 1 or 2 day DNT. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: Again, I would try to get their side of the story beforehand and explain to them why I do not believe their reasons are valid to be leaving constantly. If they continued to do so I would either place them on DNP/watch list/ strike them if necessary. I would also indicate that they are now on a DNP or received a strike for their actions. If this continues a demotion may be at hand. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would explain to them that they are not allowed in d-block to begin with in a tone and kind manner and explain to them that they have no say in d-block or ever for that matter to command Gensec. Once they leave, report their behavior to their LCMD if necessary. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: I always insure they have binds still from CPL training and explain they can now call them on Red/Orange/Black I also explain how host_writeconfig will save their binds if they lose them. You can now be trained for JFTO, this makes your jobs easier if they train. In order to be command they need to be a FTO. ANY SFTO+ CAN TRAIN YOU FOR JFTO program. Did you know that if you are active in the FTO program you can be promoted in regular Gensec? You can leave d-block and allow enlisted to do so, but not to abuse this power You should get a forums account at https://gaminglight.com/forums You can try-out for wardens, check discord for tryouts #warden-tryouts You give enlisted to researchers, remember OFC and LCPL to LCZ, CPL+ for HCZ You suggest enlisted be promoted, make sure you do activity logs, as well as for patrols with enlisted, #NCO ACTIVITY LOGS You now have a 3-day cooldown for promotions unlike the 1-day cool-down previously. Change your rank to SGT both on Discord and in game I also link them the NCO guide and tell them to read it and come to me or any NCO/CMD if they have any further questions/comments/concerns Generally, I also give them sniper AND riot if they don’t have it and explain that they may enter the tower and catwalk but the restrictions on leaving, and escorting are the same as Riot Control. If cooldowns are lowered I let them know they can be trained for RIG by SCMD I inform them they are now able to apply for WO when the application comes up. But seriously, ZJ has been fighting day and night to join SEC Senior Command. While some of the other applicants show strong new potential, ZJ is a clear pick. He helps his fellow security, runs his current command job correctly (from what I have seen as Research Command), is always in SEC TS when needed, is hilarious, and has caused an entire server to recognize him as a valued member of the community. While his past has had some rough parts, I believe if you give ZJ the opportunity you shouldn't be disappointed. Take it from his Ex-Favorite SEC, I wouldn't have had my time in SEC if it wasn't for ZJ. Good Luck, Fly High. EDIT: I just realized no one has changed the status on SEC posts.
