Why is it important to hold and maintain a potent and responsive officer corps in a well oiled military force? No need to fear, I will elaborate on any questions needed in this application to display what separates me unequivocally from other potential applicants. Section 1: Experience -- "The Only source of knowledge is experience." ~ Albert Einstein In the Second World War, the German Army quickly cemented itself as one of the most powerful and efficient military forces that the world has ever seen. Crippling France and steamrolling every nation or resistance no matter how big or small that stood in their way. The German army seemed more fiction then fact. This was due to a multi factored equation excluding one consistent outlier, the infamous German General Staff. It was revealed by a military historian after the war that for the United Kingdom to win the war against the German Wehrmacht it would have required a 3-1 numerical advantage due to the efficiency and organization provided by the German junior and senior officers. This is one of the examples in history that illustrates the need for those in high and powerful positions to be cunning, wise, and well-experienced. Without strong mental fortitude, our armies would be dissolved into disarray & chaos. This brings me to my point, what do I offer to the equation? While I do believe that it is more embarrassing then complementary, my experience on Garry's Mod speaks for itself. I purchased Garry's Mod on August 3rd, 2014 and since then have accumulated a total of 4,500 hours exactly. During this duration I have put possibly 95% of my hours into strictly Star Wars Roleplay. I have achieved every rank possible in RP and in Staff over that time and would feel confident saying that I am a Garry's Mod experienced vet. This has taught me valuable lessons in both leadership and followership that I wear on my sleeve today. This helps me read people out and be able to facilitate a fun and positive gaming environment balancing seriousness with fun for all. As an Officer in the Shock Battalion, my capabilities to enforce the law in a just & fair manner would be greatly expanded. I would be able to train, lead, and cultivate the next generation of Shock troopers. The most important role 2LT would share for me personally is the ability to have my voice heard at a higher consideration. I feel that my input would be extremely vital to long term success and improvement in the Battalion. My main goal is being able to help out with as much as possible when it comes to administration, legislation, and advisory roles afforded to a Shock Officer. Why do you feel you can be trusted to hold this position? Apart from my experience from which I elaborated on in section 1, I am able to offer my current reputation around the server. I have yet to have the opportunity to meet all the server regulars and genuinely get to greet everybody equally but I have confidence that the people I have met would be willing to give me positive references. I have made it essential to follow the law to a tee making sure to not waiver whether it comes to server rules or roleplay military law. It has also been a personal strength of mine to insure that roleplay was always followed through by my part and seen to it that I never break character. If chosen, what can you add to the battalion that other applicants can't? I am able to offer absolute maturity, wisdom, and professionality to both my battalion and the Imperial Army as a cohesive entity. I will be unwilling to bend these core principles for anything and will never strive to erode my own sense of moral judgement. How active can you be?
