General Suggestion - Elevator Gate - Denied

What are you suggesting? -  Make the elevator gate kill D-Class that try to ledge themselves in between.

How would this change better the server? -  Currently when D-Class break the elevator they can receive and Warn and 1day ban, to help prevent that problem from happening at all and some possibly "innocent" people getting banned when they didnt know that im suggestion to make it so if you get wedged in the elevator it will kill you instantly.  Like how the Elevator in medbay in the old map.  

Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - If implemented correctly, none.

Who would this change mostly benefit? - People who dont know the rule about breaking the  elevator and could cause that problem to stop  completely

Wouldn't that be a problem like how the old site medbay elevator used to kill people caught between ? Lots of accidental deaths especially when someone is spamming the buttons or body block while your walking out of it. Unless they added a cooldown to the top and bottom buttons.

Because the gate acts as a sorta cooldown for D-Class, without it theres no need to send the elvator up and they could just run from spawn, shoot someone a few times with a falcon, die, repeat.

If the gate was removed, nonstop hoards of D Class could simply repeatedly come back down and damage Security. If they were not a Custom Class, they could easily take out a lot of Security by, lets say shooting them with a falcon, dying, and then immediately coming back to do it again. Doesn’t seem too fair.

+support but make it do gradual damage instead so some poor soul who runs in at a bad time doesn’t get killed immediately and instead they just take 10 DMG and then walk in as the gate shuts behind them.

If you were to remove the gate on top where dclass hang out wouldn't that remove the issue of dclass breaking the gate at the bottom while also keeping the gate at the bottom to continue to slow down dclass rushes?

Hopefully we can all agree on a possible way to solve this issue, but the way in is rn, is not cool. I accidently did it and everyone kept saying I was gonna get banned. I didn't even know what I was supposedly gonna get banned for then they said the gate thing. All i did was rush into the elevator a second before it started closing. 

Warns would be better instead of bans.

While I do understand that most D class don’t have those guns and it’s far enough away so that those guns would not be effective too use by just jumping down might get a lucky shot but it’s not gonna take down D block
