TTexas Posted July 31, 2020 Share Posted July 31, 2020 Lore Name: TTexas Rank: Researcher SCP: 008 and 049-2 Question / Idea: Can a 049-2 instance be immune to 008 as it was "cured?" Background Research: 049-2 Is a hostile instance made by 049 it always follows 049s commands. 008 is a 100% contagious disease that infects through air and possibly water. Hypothesis: 049-2 will be immune to 008s effects. Observations (What Happened During Test): First me and for some reason that I don't know why a GENSEC officer accompanied by a D class went to 049. 049 just got transported back to our sight and was happy with the fact that we could take his 049-2 to do some testing of our own. After the D Class was turned we cuffed him tightly as we didn't want a 049-2 to breach. Next we went to 008 CC and put on body suits and gas masks. After we opened 008 CC the 049-2 turned into a 008-2. In the word of the officer, "He just got double zombified" Next the guard who for some reason had his gas mask on wrong turned into a 008-2 and started coming toward me. I pulled out my gun in self defense and shot him 8 times to slow him down. I then closed the airlock and called a RIG and a MTF for a 008 breach. The situation ended up OK and nobody got hurt except for the officer.
