Over the past two weeks I have tried my best to be active on the job and host plenty of meetings for officers. I hope my activity has satisficed High Command and those who commented on my previous application. Over the month as a Major I've tried to learn more to make myself a better command member. What I have done is continually learned how to best handle situations presented before. As a Major and hopefully soon a Colonel I'll be handling more difficult situations as one of the higher Low Command Members. I believe my time in Low Command in PD and staff has given me the ability to see situations from multiple point of views as to give the best result of it. With my experience I have also paid attention to what is needed to benefit the department I do this by guiding officers who need to improve and reward those who are doing well and encouraging them to take a bigger role and also guide lower officers. Like I've said I host a good bit of meetings and I work with High Command and other Low Command to create beneficial trainings and make the uniquely as I can as much as my schedule allows. I've also been apart of other departments and this gives me different ideas and opinions on how to best help / lead PD. I see myself in Command as a person who can guide people who need it and punish those who deserve it. Being Command is about finding a balance because sometimes you need to be harder then other times on people.
