Favorite World-Ending SCP?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So there are multiple SCP's that are said to end the world depending on certain criteria or are just straight up ass-tearing anomalies. Which "apocalyptic" SCP is your favorite?

Mine personally is SCP-498. An alarm clock that goes off every 11 minutes, and every 10 seconds the alarm is constantly playing, it will raise the sound by 4 dB. It has been said that this SCP can cause seismic activity and internal bleeding depending on how long its been playing. So just imagine a scenario where it goes off for a while and no one is able to stop it. Massive earthquakes and tsunami's being formed and engulfing the Earth as we know it, getting so loud it kills us all. Like, imagine the human race being extinct because of an alarm clock..

SCP-2845, i dunno, guess i just like that the thing is contained through the sheer belief that it is, even though its Containment Protocols are all just mumbo jumbo.

SCP-871

It's a cake that duplicates itself everyday if it isn't consumed by humans. If even a single crumb was allowed to go unchecked, because of exponential growth, the world would end in 80 days, and the growth would continue, eventually suffocating the universe in cake.
