KNOWELDGE TEST.

Clearance Level: 3

Date of test: Saturday, 02/05/2020

Name:Tommy

Rank: Associate Researcher

SCP: 049-2

List of Personnel involved in testing:  AR. Starstep, CPL. Scroll Lance, CPL. Rabbynun.

Level D Personnel involved(if any): 2 class D subjects. https://imgur.com/a/dM1tXLL

Risks/Safety Precautions: Since it's HCZ, I needed at least two Gensec corporal to escort me and my colleague in order to do the test.

Background Research: SCP 049-2 is known as a subject that got 'cured' by the disease that 049 is so obssesed about. SCP 049-2 are reanimated corpses after being inserted by a specific liquid and with extravagant surgery that 049 has in his bag. Although they come back to life, it seems they only retain basic motor skills and response mechanics.

What I’m teaching/testing: I'm testing the possibility that, depending their different physical attributes (acrobat, for example.) and intelligence quotient ( Global Knowledge, lockpick skills, etc) they had in the past, somehow a small portion of it still retains in the subject. So I'm gonna put in a room some obstacles (ramps, Temporary wood walls) and 2 Doors, one with Knob and the other without Knob, not too difficult I think.

Observation: Me and my Colleague began to talk with SCP 049 demanding that these subjects needed to be 'cured' by the disease, 049 didnt hesitate any moment to proceed with his surgery with the Class D subjects. After 20 minutes waiting, 049-2a and 049-2b began to stand up after a series of injecting and extracting substances by 049. Gensec took care to restrain and gag 049-2a as fast as possible before acting hostile but 049-2b was harder to restrain and almost attacked the corporal, and we left 049 CC, leaving some reading materials of 'The andromeda strain' by Michael Crichton and 'A journal of the plague year' by Daniel Defoe which 049 with a brief laugh, didnt complain and begin to read. Meanwhile we went to the 'Euclid Waiting room chamber' which is big enough to do the test, and ordered to do a rectangle corridor with some ramps, to see if they can crouch, or simply break it, and also to know if they can jump, and 2 doors after that, one with a knob, and below, near 049-2 the key to open it, and the second one without knob (they just have to push, break, whatever they like). 2 hours after everything was prepared and set, I ordered the Gensec to release 049-2a, who was a thief in the past and demonstrated high agility and speed, inside the room. At first, 049-2 Went straight to the bulletproof glass we had in the room, smashing with exhasperation, but interestingly, after 8 minutes, stopped, either his muscles were tired, or because 049-2a understood it was not possible to reach that area and went to the corridor. The first part, 049-2a seemed to have difficulties with the first ramps, breaking the first two, the lowest ones, indicating that 049-2a dont know how to jump, or thought it was easier, but in the next 3 ramps, 049-2a actually DID crouch, well, inclined his back, and the last ramp, lower of course, 049-2 broke it, meaning that depending of the height, finds worthy to pass without breaking the structure, or eliminates the obstacle, finding it easier or because it was physically unable to pass. Second stage of test: 049-2a arrives at the first door without knob. After 5 seconds , 049-2a smashes the door down. Well I kind of expected that, honestly. Last Stage: 049-2a finds the last door, but in this case it's a stainless steel door, with a knob, which 049-2a started to hit and scratch without hesitation, for like... 30 minutes? That was long indeed, but 049-2a stopped suddenly. 049-2a started to look around, touching the wall, looking up and down, touching the ground, and then, 049-2a picked the key below him, and ate it (me and my colleague were perplexed). So 049-2a failed to surpass the test, so Gensec terminated him and put 049-2a in a 72x215 cm plastic bag and began with 049-2b. This one was a Serial Killer, and a University teacher of Philosphy, caught with a series of murders and mutilations of young woman. 049-2b didnt attack us the moment Gensec released it to the test room, in fact, it went straight to the corridor, surprisingly. The first 2 ramps, 049-2b attempted to, jump? that's what I've seen, but failed, falling to the ground and breaking the ramp. The second attempt, 049-2b did jump, but after, with the other 3 ramps, 049-2b crouched the first one and broke the other 2. I don't know why, but I thought 049-2b would be capable to pass through that... When 049-2b arrives to the first door, it looks around, like it's trying to find something, after 23 seconds, 049-2b pushes the door, opening it, and reaches to the second door. This time, 049-2b looked at the knob, and tried to open it, 3 times, 10 seconds each try, but, it seems that after that, scp 049-2b broke the knob and began to hit and scratch the door, without even noticing the key below him. I had high hopes with this subject, and waited 15 minutes, just to see that it became tired and stared at the door for another 15 minutes. I took note of 049-2a results and 049-2b and ordered Gensec to terminate 049-2b put it in another plastic bag and incinerate in the incineration room.

Conclusion: It seems that 049-2a was more primitive than 049-2b but it did find the key but didnt use it, and 049-2b had more strength and also could jump, EVEN interacted with the knob but didnt see the key (or didnt recognize the object as an important piece of the puzzle) and used hostile ways to pass through the door, which failed of course. Somehow my conclusion is 50/50. Perhaps I'll do a second test with major Physical and IQ differences, since both had good physical body, and wits in the past (It's still unclear about the intelligence of 049-2 because of 049-2a and 049-2b controversies with doors).

Grade: C (75%)
Test Quality: Standard
Lore: 15/20
I don't think 049-2 has any memories or thoughts at all other than obeying 049

Creativity: 15/20
This test is pretty creative but I don't really see how it could help the foundation

Presentation: 5/20
You didn't really do anything creative with your presentation other than the colored text

Writing:40/40
The writing in this test log is good
