We could add these to bunks, casino area, or some of the open rooms on the ISD. Why should we add it? - Gives people something extra to do during down time, and hopefully will reduce the amount of people that get bored and start breaking rules. Just tell the STs that there is a Checkers tournament, and they'll be distracted for 2 hours. What are the advantages of having this? - Occupies people, allows for some friendly competition, and allows for betting of money. Who is it mainly for? - Everyone. There is always something a trooper could/should do even on Defcon 5. We already have a gambling room, so I don't see much of a difference between that and this, in that regard. Plenty of other IMP and other RP servers have these, and they don't cause any disruptions.
