dead corpse Posted April 3, 2020 Share Posted April 3, 2020 Lore Name:Dead Corpse Rank: Junior SCP: 1048 Question / Idea: If someone is blindfolded and they open SCP-1048 will they contract the disease? Background Research: SCP-1048 is a book of diseases titled "The encyclopedia of common diseases" written by Cortan Press, however when someone opens it they contract the disease that they opened the book on. Hypothesis: If someone opens SCP-1048 but can't see the page they won't get the disease. Observations (What Happened During Test): A d-class was told to look at the book, then we tied a blindfold around his eyes. He was told to open it, and he landed on cancer. When asked how he felt he said that it was hard for him to breath. We took him to medbay, and sure enough he had lung cancer. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: n/a Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): due to the fact that the d-class still got cancer, but he could not see the book means that SCP-1048's power does not rely on sight Was Your Hypothesis Correct?:no Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Creativity: 15/20 Has been done before, but still intriguing nonetheless. Presentation: 12/20 Short test-log with little detail, but still followed the format.
