MTF Branch Addition Suggestion - Denied

What you want to see? -  The addition of Mobile Task Force Alpha-9 "Last Hope" into the server.

What would this Task Force do?- To quote the SCP-Wiki, "A Mobile Task Force explicitly intended to train and utilize humanoid SCP objects in the field."

Why Should we add it?- MTF Alpha-9 can be an amazing idea if implemented correctly. SCP's and MTF would have a better roleplay experience because they could almost always have something to do in the server and would encourage more people to use 076-2 and 1245-2 more often. 

What are the advantages of having this? - New RP Scenarios, more content, More MTF Branches, and New SCP Experiences. 

What SCP's can they utilize and when?-  There are three SCP's that can be utilized by Alpha-9 during CI Raids, Raids on CI, or D-block Riots. These SCP's include SCP-076-2, SCP-1245-2, and SCP-966 instances (only one SCP-966 Instance may be utilized at a time but must be terminated after being utilized). Before any SCP's are utilized, the Commander or a Wrangler must advert the following: "[F] SCP-XXXX is being utilized by MTF Alpha-9" during a DEFCON of 3 and under. 

Who is it mainly for? - Server/MTF

MTF Alpha-9 Jobs-

Name of Job: MTF Alpha-9 Operative

Job Description: A Mobile Task Force explicitly intended to train and utilize humanoid SCP objects in the field. Operatives are to assist Wranglers with handling SCP's or help other MTF Units in their duties.

Job Salary: 250

Job HP: 100

Job Armor: 125

Job Slots: 4

Name of Job: MTF Alpha-9 Wrangler

Job Salary: 300

Job HP: 125

Name of Job: MTF Alpha-9 Wrangler Escort

Job Description: A Mobile Task Force explicitly intended to train and utilize humanoid SCP objects in the field. The wrangler Escort is to protect the Wrangler at all times, if an SCP gets out of Alpha-9's hands the escort and operatives shall hunt to either capture or eliminate it.

Job Salary: 275

I'm torn on this but leaning towards -. I do love the idea of new additions to the server but this branch seems very niche. I'm not sure, the scps would gain an interesting use case working with the foundation but there's things to consider like 076s no gun rule and CI taking the scps perhaps. I'm open to being proven wrong.

- Support I like the idea but this cannot be implemented into the server for a few reason.
One: This would allow for "Teaming" Of sorts between foundation personal and SCPs.
Two: As mattO said That would break the conditions for SCP 076. When Luring SCP 076 over to CI Its almost impossible for him not to see a single weapon thus enraging and killing the entire A9 unit and all other near by units. This makes A9 a nuisance for their own team.
Three: The branch seems very niche, They would only be able to kill things with planning. All units are better if they know what they are facing but this one seems to based off this concept. Not to mention while trying to get the SCPs out of their cells, they still need to get them to a specific location without the SCP running away or the A9 unit dying.

I made a similar post to this, asking for branch additions and It got denied. Simply because there are already too many branches and adding more would thin the others out a lot.

I wish the teaming was more accepted with how many scenarios it could cause to enhance RP, however, it isn't. So, in this case, it would not only have to enable CI to have Development again, which people may not like but also have SMT to work on an entirely new set of MOTD rules for this branch and CI's Development team. 

Though I believe this change would be great, it's not only a big one, but also would be too late into the server's lifetime to really implement correctly. There is no issue with putting people into the branch as the server has been doing extremely well, however, it would just include a lot of implementation and new bases for CI and MTF as a whole.

More additions to CI's Development and military would have to make as well as with this entirely new MTF branch and new sets of SOPs and rules to follow along, even if it is possible and people would be able to do it. Teaming and along with SCPs as a whole right now just can't fit together with no matter how much I or other people may want to be apart of or even run a creative branch like this.

TLDR: Love this idea, but I don't think it's possible.

 

@[GL] M-2033 but also please keep in mind that most of these weapons and stats would be changes even if this were accepted because it seems a little dramatic on some.

On the real side, I don't think most people would mind a new MTF branch, along as it's useful. Maybe a based LCZ MTF branch that escorts Utility, and Research 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
