Background Research: SCP-939 hunts primarily using noise, as it lacks any visual sensory organs. Hypothesis: SCP-939 will react to noise produced by a human at a noise less than a regular speaking voice. Observations (What Happened During Test): D-939-1 began speaking at a very lower whisper. D-939-1 gradually increased the noise level that he spoke at over the course of around 20 seconds. At around the 20 seconds mark, D-939-1 reached a "loud whisper" volume, approximately 36 decibels. At this point, SCP-939 reacted to D-939-1 and violently attacked. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-939 appeared to register the noise at the 36 decibel range, which is about 6 decibels over a standard whisper. Therefore, any normal conversation will easily be picked up by SCP-939, however, any whisper that is kept to a very low volume should be unheard by SCP-939.
