What you want to see? - I wish to see SCPs be able to breach Easier instead of waiting an eternity to breach because they are getting instantaneously stopped by MTF. I wish for the breach times to either be lowered or make it some way that the SCP's can breach faster. 

Why should we add it? - Not many SCP's are able to breach unless not many MTF's aren't paying attention. Usually MTF's just instantly feed the SCP's and they aren't even given a chance when they are trying to breach. This causes people to hop instantly off SCP's, not many are seen played for this exact reasonl

What are the advantages of having this? - There will be more active SCPs causing both MTF's to have something to do, and SCPs even looked highly upon to play way more often.  We get to see more people enjoying being an SCP and cause people to play them more as a result.

Who is it mainly for? -SCPs AND MTFs get to do more and enjoy their time on the server.

It's so hard for some scp's to escape like the doctor, it doesn't help that mtf's metagame too so they can just auto recontain. A separate chat for scps like with utility would be nice. That way admins can see the adverts but mtf cant.

+Support I wouldn't mind SCP's having a shorter time to get out

+/-Support I like the idea of scp's having a separate chat but only for when they are breaking the door's, with food it should be normal

-Support, Self breaching is a alternative way of SCPs getting out and will always be slower then Dclass or CI breaching them, If every SCP had a 10 min or 5 min breach timer MTF Wouldnt be able to control the site and it would just ruin every part of the site apart from dblock (where SCPs cannot go), Self breaching timers need to be long enough so MTF can get Janitors, Techs, or dclass to HCZ and that isnt always possible

Also it would make no since in lore you guys are constantly breaching. As crabbo said self breaching was added as an alternative way to breach, and should never be expected to be as fast as a D-Class or CI breaching you.

-Support We aren't playing SCP: Secret Laboratory also I think MTF would hate it if breaches occur 24/7 maybe sometimes but not all the times and even gives Researchers a disadvantage since we aren't allowed to test at Defcon 2 and maybe Defcon 3 in some situations.

Hello Kami,

The first I think week that SCP breaching was readded, MTF was basically getting run ragged with the D-class requests and timers. While it gave them more to do, it was tedious as all hell and it was quickly rectified. If people want to look at readjusting the timers they need to be very specific with what they want changed on SCP timers/breach procedures. This means you having to go through each SCP and note by how much the timer/containment procedure should be adjusted. This would give people more idea as to balancing rather then a catch-all reduction.

 

-Support regardless, I deal with CI/D class breaching enough as it is if it isn't peak times.

That SCP chat sounds kinda kool ngl as it would allow scp's to somewhat coordinate but may have problems with teaming

But on faster breach timers ima have to go with -Support

The site can be hard enough to deal with if multiple keters need food at the same time when D-Class are rioting and CI are raiding. This only gets worse if an SCP is already breached.

self breaching was added so scps wouldn’t have to wait for ci/class d to breach them and it’s usually hard enough if keeping those scps contained if d class are rioting in general. You want something that has already been buffed once majorly to be buffed again? Doesn’t sound too fair to the mtf to me...

The SCPs have to advert their breach so that MTF can see and try and stop the breach and the timers are fine its pretty easy to overwhelm MTF/Security with a good few SCPs adverting at once 

Im pretty sure when we first put it in we had to UP the timers because SCPs breached way to easily it was just constant get d class feed SCP then another would start you stopped him then the other started again

This is indeed, as you may or may not know, an rp server, not an action packed, overly dramatic breach server
rioting d-class that cause partial are the main reason why the scps have a chance in the first place
that 30 minutes you need to breach, can be just enough time for mtf to quench the riot and come just in time to save the day
the scp chat sounds cool

i dont wanna deal with consistent 682 and 079 breaches.

Yea, we would definitely hate this AND when there are tons of SCPs are, it becomes absolute Hell if breach timers were shorter. Sometimes, there are more SCPs than MTF lol.

This isn't BreachRP or a TDM server, SCPs shouldn't be able to breach easily since that would impede the ability for researchers to do test on them. In addition, having one SCP breach makes keeping other SCPs contained harder, which leads to other SCPs breaching. Making the timer shorter would lead to more site wide breaches and those breaches happening in a shorter amount of time.
