Rhodes.
Lore Name: Cancer Rank: Researcher SCP: 096 Question / Idea: What would happen if we remove the part of the brain that processes images and stores them for memory, would 096's Rage state still be activated? Background Research: None Hypothesis: SCP-096's Rage state will still be activated because SCP-096's rage state doesn't care if you consciously see his face. Observations (What Happened During Test): D-8254 was pointed in the direction of 096 by MTF Nu7 and we locked the door after the MTF got out and we heard screaming and crying about 5 seconds after we closed the door and a swift crack 3 seconds later. D-8254 was KIA by 096. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-096's rage state doesn't care if you consciously see his face, As long as you see it it activates. Kumandant
Score: 50/100Grade: DLore: 20/20 I have no complaints here. SCP-096's face is seen. It gets distressed. Then it kills its viewer. Very simple. As in lore, SCP-096's viewer does not need to actually process what they are seeing, resulting in the outcome's predictable, but believable result.Creativity: 15/20 Removing a part of the brain that is responsible for processing an image, is certainly an intriguing concept, that I wish you could have expanded on more thoroughly.Presentation: 5/20 Very boring presentation. The document follows what is basically the bare minimum, and yet still leaves bits of awkward spacing.Writing: 10/40 Although the general information about your experiment is present, it severely lacks in detail. Plenty of ideas could have been developed if you had put the time into detailing them. Such examples may include an explanation on where in the brain would be responsible for certain functions, as well as some insight into how the surgical procedure had been done, in-order to accomplish such a complicated task. The empty Background Research left much to be desired. Perhaps you could have expanded on what parts of the brain, need to have been removed. If you are for whatever reason, unable to do so, you may instead fill it with general information about SCP-096, that may be relevant to your Observation, such as how SCP-096 enters an enraged state, when its face is directly viewed by a person. In this case, anything is better than nothing. To put it simply, this experiment was an excellent idea, that had been torn down by lazy writting. I rate this Sub-Standard.
