Question: Is it possible for SCP-999 to absorb Kinetic Energy and dissipate said energy into the atmosphere or the ground?
Note: If SCP-999 is able to absorb Kinetic Energy, can it turn said energy into stored energy within its body?

Hypothesis: SCP-999 will be able to absorb Kinetic Energy and dissipate its energy/use stored energy when its body morphs shapes.
Note: This could provide context as to how SCP-999 is able to maintain its gelatinous state. 
It's impossible for it to permanently absorb large amounts of energy, so it would have to dissipate its energy so that it does not ruin its gelatinous state.

Analysis and Conclusion: 
Analysis:
Phase One: First Punch
SCP -999 showed the capabilities of minor kinetic energy absorption through a single, hard punch to SCP-999. 
(SCP-999 was alright with the test and did not seem to mind).

Phase Two: Standard 9mm Cartridge
SCP-999 was unable to absorb any kinetic energy from the handgun round. 
The bullet was spat back out by SCP-999 who cooed happily.

Phase One: Seismograph
In initial testing, a seismograph was placed one (1) meter from SCP-999 to test if kinetic energy was being dispersed into the ground at low frequencies.
No kinetic energy was detected, even when attempting to use an enhanced version of the seismograph, which can detect minor vibrations.

Phase Two: Morphed Dispersal
Thanks to new research tech developed by our R&D teams, a new tool (commonly known as the P.E.F.M, or Polar Energy Field Manipulator,), we can detect 
even the slightest amount of energy releases, even on a molecular level if need be.
Testing through, it was found that SCP-999 is capable of releasing kinetic energy in small bursts when in movement. Molecules in its gelatinous body are able to dissipate this
energy as thermal energy into the atmosphere. 
When given candy, SCP-999's rate of kinetic dispersion increased by a factor of 3%.

Testing ended soon after and SCP-999 and the stationed guard returned to posts.

Do your results align with your hypothesis?:
In conclusion, the results that I had found were conclusively accurate with my hypothesis.
Each action that SCP-999 took slowly released energy. Lipids (granted by sweets and sugars) 
help to release this energy when need be. The fats can be burned quickly along with the aforementioned energy.

Addendum 1A-999: Testing between SCP-999 and SCP-128 
could be useful in fully determining properties of SCP-999 when it comes to Kinetic Energy.

Quality Test, very good vocabulary, over the top detail. If I could have any recommendations, as small as they would be, I'd request that you make it easier to follow with bigger titles of the different sections and whatnot.
