WEAPON NAME: SCANV47

 

The Scanv47 is a heavily modified ak47 with a custom  camber that fills hollow 45. Cal bullets with a heavily modified virus of 049-2 when fired, once on impact the virus will kill the threat 3-4 minutes with one shot and destroy itself upon Brain death. More bullet impacts speeds up the process of brain death. A smaller scale prototype (a smg) is being used for testing to make sure it works as intended before moving onto a Rifle modell.

 

How the virus works

once the virus infects the subject upon impact, it shall travel through The bloodstream where it will head straight to the brain and destroy the organ. Once death is confirmed by the lack of electrical signals in the brain the virus shall destroy itself via destruction of the protein shell. As a safety mechanism, if the virus manages to exit the body, the virus will destroy itself via  destruction of the protein shell.

 

Development of the virus

The virus was developed from samples from SCP- 049-2 using top notch foundation Gene editing technology (also known as FGET-1) using the most sterile environments to insure maxium safety. 

Sample Collection was Approved By HOR Weiss.

 

Test 1 

Subject: D-214

subject , was shot in the knee cap, subjects intelligence has decreased in 1 minute , subject could not respond to commands in 2 minutes , subject was taken to med-bay,  but  experienced brain death, whilst getting a PET-scan for signs of consciousness.

 

Test 2

Subject: D-533

Subject shot in the chest, subject couldn't say words at 1 minute into impact,, subject lost all ability to function in 1 minute and 30 seconds, but brain scans showed the subject was still alive, but not reacting to stimuli. Subject expired due to shock. 

Autopsy revealed damage to the brain was massive, causing a loss of blood in the subject. 

 

Test 3 

subject: D-099

Subject was shot in the chest, in one minute in subject had slurred speech, trouble following directions, in 2 minutes subject could not communicate, and in 3 minutes subject was declared brain dead 

 

summary 

Research was promising in showing this new weapon to be deployed by MTF squads to quickly eliminate threats very quickly. Study also showed multiple shots shortened the length of time for brain death. This weapon was designed to quickly neutralize high threats.

                          

Worked quite a while on this so, please tell me ways to improve myself to create high quality research papers.

I do have a question regarding this weapon development, how did you manage to modify the 049-2 Virus? A virus that we the foundation, are completely clueless on how it exactly operates? SCP-049 has been uncooperative in the nature of how it creates the 049-2 Virus and the remains from 049-2 Bodies aren't helpful. On top of this, im also curious on how you managed to prevent the deceased subjects from becoming 049-2 if this is a modified virus. Not only did you manage to recreate the SCP-049-2 Virus something that I was unaware we even knew about, but you managed to modify it. How exactly?

// I absolutely enjoy this document as its made quite well, but the only thing that bugs me is that this weapon is based off the 049-2 Virus and the issue is that the foundation doesn't even know the ingredients / methods of the 049-2 virus especially not to recreate it to the point of modification.
