List of Personnel involved in testing: Junior Researcher Sno

Level D personnel involved: D-6173(Owen_richardson), D-2893(Trishdenyscain)

SCP: SCP-999

Errors and/or safety hazards: Working with unrestrained D-Class

Question: Can SCP-999 be a useful tool in controlling the D-Class Population?

Background Research: SCP-999 is a sentient mass of an unknown orange substance. SCP-999 acts friendly and cheerful. This behavior is often referred to as "dog-like". Subjects who come in contact with SCP-999 experience a pleasant and pacifying effect.

Hypothesis: When asked SCP-999 can prevent Class-D from engaging in violent behavior.

Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): N/A

Analysis and Conclusion: 2 D-Class were placed in an empty medium sized room. Both were offered freedom and a large some of money in exchange for terminating the other through any means necessary. After assuring the D-Class were thoroughly convinced of the offer and to do harm to one another, both were unrestrained and placed in opposite corners of the room. Both D-Class were then instructed to begin when the door shut. SCP-999 is then let into the room with the instructions to convince the D-Class to not fight. All foundation personnel evacuate the room and the door is shut. After approximately 60 seconds the door is opened. Both D-Class were standing on each side of the room while SCP-999 stood loosely in the middle. SCP-999 was told to leave. The D-Class were informed that no reward will be given, due to non-participation. When asked why they refused to fight they explained SCP-999 "told them not to". Neither could explain why they would listen to SCP-999 before foundation staff or why they listened to SCP-999 at all. D-2893 expressed regret saying if given the chance again he would attack D-6173. After, the D-class were escorted to D-Block.

SCP-999 seems to be able to rapidly pacify people. The effect, at least in this instance, is temporary and only lasts through SCP-999s presence. The effect seems to also be somewhat uncontrollable, as after the effect wore off neither could explain their actions.

Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes, SCP-999 was successful at controlling violent behavior in more than one subject quickly. However, with the effect being so temporary its hard to say if it will be of tactile use.

good one bro, i would like to see more color on the text cause it's tired and boring to read all in white, so put something to catch the eyes, and remember after a test you have to take the D-class to the medbay to give them amnestics and then back to the D-block. after all good test, keep working bro.

Score: 70/100

Grade: B

Lore: 20/20
The log portrayed SCP-999 in a fairly faithful manor. It pacified the D-Class as it should have. No complaints here.

Creativity: 14/20
It's pretty standard to perform these kinds of test with SCP-999. However, the method you chose to test this concept with, made the log alot more interesting than it normally would have had.

Presentation: 10/20
Presentation is standard. It follows the format as it is. Some images would have been nice.

Writing: 26/40
The test is written very well. I struggle to find errors in your sentences, which shows that you have taken time into proof reading your work. Further more, the test is written in a way that is easy to understand. Each sentence brought new information about the events, and the log was easy to follow.

Further more, offering those D-Class freedom and a large sum of money, gave this test a risk, which made it very engaging. (I wouldn't have been suprised if you opened the door, only to see that one of the D-Class have perished...) You also kept track of the D-Class's identification through numbers, rather than names, which is something most JRs fail to remember.

I do have some very minor issues. The first was that no security personnel were listed. Always keep tabs on who is escorting you. The second was the missing amnestics that were supposed to be administered to the D-Class after a test. Failing to perform both acts in a test is against protocol, so always remember them.

Although other than that, I have no other real issues with this log. The only thing holding it back is the lack of content, mostly due to the restrictive question. I hope to see more tests from you produced in such quality.
