Rank: Utilization Senior Earl

Clearance Level: 3

List of Personnel involved in testing: Monitoring: [REDACTED]. Present: Senior Researcher Vindertech, SEC WO USMC Hugo Stiglitz

Level D personnel involved: None

SCP: 500

Safety Hazards and Procedures: Extreme caution must be taken when handling instances of SCP-500. Everything within our grasp must be done in order to prevent damage to the instance, or otherwise rendering the substance inert. We have very limited instances of SCP-500, and to cost one is to cost a potential life in the long run. Thus, each pill must be handled with utmost precision. The pill is to be opened in a safe, sterile environment. Under no circumstance are foreign bodies to be introduced to the environment. Any escorts are to wait outside of the room, the Researcher being the only handling the instance of SCP-500.

Objective: In previous testing, SCP-049 has proven to identify SCP-500, and even went on as to explain how the pills work. This has brought us an astounding step closer to being able to replicate this medication. The goal of this experiment is to identify the composition of SCP-500 and to determine whether or not it might be composed of microorganisms. If this were the case, it may be very well possible to reproduce the organisms, in effect creating additional instances of SCP-500 over time.

Equipment: A hazmat suit, a surgical toolkit, a microscope and slides, an incubator, and incubating gels.

Hypothesis: My theory is that SCP-500 instances are composed of tiny, intelligent microorganisms that are capable of identifying and and repairing irregularities in their environment. Should this be the case, it could prove possible to reproduce these organisms, therefore creating more instances of SCP-500.

Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos):

Voice Log Transcript:

████: By God, we really did it! We just replicated SCP-500! This is amazing, think of all we can do with this!

████: And what of the  ████ ████████? What if they got their hands on it?

████: I doubt they have the resources to even know. We could storm them downing pills like no tomorrow. There wouldn't be any stopping the force.

████: Think, man! Just the same could happen to us. The limited supply of these pills is the only thing that keeps their power in check. We can't go around mass-producing these things!

[A loud bang erupts from somewhere near by, and footsteps enter the room. A struggle is heard as gas is heard flowing from an unknown valve. The struggle subsides.]

██-█: Take them to the bunks. I want everything in this room incinerated.

            [The audio abruptly cuts.]

████,

████████████,

██████,

and ████████.

Instructions:

First, you must [DATA EXPUNGED].

Then, [DATA ERROR:404]

And finally, [DATA NOT FOUND]

~I was caught off guard that this even worked. Next time, we need to be prepared for the consequences of a successful experiment as well. -██-█

This test was amazing. Even if you lost the Data from the test afterwards it was amazing. The amount of lore and effort put into this is extraordinary! I personally found no grammatic problems, Lore issues, or any issues going against the SOP. This is the best Utilization test I have ever seen. I wish your Data/Memory was never taken because I would love to see how if you made your own SCP-500, would they act like SCP-500 from SCP-038? or act like the Regular SCP-500? All in all this will be my first ever 10/10 rating I hope to see more amazing tests like this.

+Thumbs up ?

Score: 79/100

Grade: B+

Lore: 20/20
This test respects the lore of SCP-500, but also chooses to add on to it by giving it a deeper conspiracy involving the O5.

Creativity: 19/20
Again, I love the idea of SCP-500 being something that the O5 is attempting to prevent the replacation off. It brings a good mystery to SCP-500. Another thing worth commending was the use of multiple test logs to tell this short story.

Presentation: 15/20
The test is mostly written in the default formatting. However the addition of the video did compensate for it, as well as the neat inclusion of "glitches" and kill agents.

Writing: 25/40
Most of the content generally resides in the video, so I'll go over it first. The video was recorded with decent quality, and it is what was used to tell the events of most of the test. However the video definetly could have used some editing, especially at 2:40 when you went AFK.

An odd thing I could also give you marks for were the decent /me's performed, though they were diffucult to read due to the size. I would have preferred if you just recreated the events of the video into text in your observation.

You could have also included the medical department to assist in research, which was a missed opportunity.

Despite the flaws however, I am very pleased with what the build up has led up to, I would love see you conduct more tests that continue to tell a story.
