Removing Some Naval Blasters

What do you want to see? -  Removing the Assult Blaster from the Navel Clases

Why should we add it? -  Because it's unrealistic, Naval officers don't carry an AR with them, that's for storm troopers.

What are the advantages of having this? - Makes it more realistic and can add more RP

Who is it mainly for? - Navel

Naval as a whole really shouldn't be partaking in a whole lot of combat as they can still lead on the ground via FOB or setting up defenses with shock/nova(once they are added) but for the most part it should be the commanders/officers leading troops on the ground. While naval leads in space.

That's what shock is for though, Navel is only there to lead the troops

Actually, not to be rude but The Imperial Navy took 0% control in the field it was left for the Commanders and Officers. Fleet keep the ISD's in shape in the bridge they have no other purpose they're not Helmets and Guns they're hats and coats meaning they stay away from Frontal Combat and would 100% stay in a HQ or FOB.

Well we can't play on 2 maps at the same time, so navy take command

We play on many more than 2, it just depends on the GM running the event. That's how naval run they're weak no armor, only side-arms doesn't do well in the field would die to quick. This is why they would stay in an armored base away from the attack

Okay so then all naval should get equivalent ranks in any battalion they want so they can use it on the field meaning Pentagon would be another General and I would be a BG, along with the rest of the Naval getting officer ranks in a battalion of their choosing, since we would have no way to play during events. The server is for FUN over complete realism, you wouldnt see Palpatine in an attack against a minor rebel base would you?

Hello Phenix,

So realistically, Naval problely wouldn't be on the battlefield with troops but operating safely on the ship or in highly defended location. But this server is meant to encourage a fun roleplay environment, so by taking the guns away you do mess with their abilities a bit. But at the same time, that also means Naval gets to take the job of other battalions who are supposed to be the foot soldiers. I myself am not sure what the correct answer to this would be as its an issue revolving around player experience on the server. Naval having heavy guns does not really affect the other battalions too much but it is kinda silly from roleplay perspective.

Also regarding leadership, I do feel Naval should be managing from upper echelons and delegating on-field tasks to officers/NCO of their respective battalion, so that..You know the officers/NCOs can actually lead their men on the battle field and report back to highest Naval officers. This way, we have a proper chain of command active.

+/- support due to the reasons above.

You can take away that assault rifle but we should have like a strong pistol and shotgun like the hunters shotgun, both are small weapons but pack a punch.
