Cameron T Staff Report

Calamity

Your In-Game Name: Calamity

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:441397904

Staff member's In-Game Name: Cameron T

What did they do? He was abusing his physgun off duty while someone was taking his EMS vehicle. As the rank of moderator he has breached and violated the staff handbook in many profuse ways.

Under the general section of the staff handbook under bullet point one and two has stated:

Quote

Do not use admin powers while roleplaying or when not on duty (Unless you are Super Admin+).

You should never be using your powers when not on duty (Unless you are Super Admin+).

Evidence (REQUIRED):

  • 0:10 - He was abusing his physgun holding his EMS vehicle while a guy was stealing it.
  • 0:18 - He was holding the guy who stole his EMS vehicle

What do you think is an acceptable punishment? As stated in the staff handbook it states a Strike or removal from staff will be the proper action to be given of whom breaches the staff handbook abusing their powers off duty.

Evidence is clear

The staff member should be talked to.  A removal isn't necessary.  Maybe a strike.

I personally do not feel that a removal or strike is needed. I talked to Cameron earlier and it was an "In the moment" situation. I think an honest talking to will be the best for him.

He sounded super sincere on his apology as he apologized to me, Gamik, Friendly Steve and Calamity. Give him another shot and let him attempt to redeem himself. We've all done things like this off duty before in a "in the moment" situation (don't lie)

As I said. I think a very very stern talking to is honestly fine with me. But if he makes the mistake a second time, then a removal would be deemed appropriate.

evidence is clear  staff handbook does state that trial mods up to admin can’t use powers when off duty although I think he did it in the moment but he still should of contacted a staff member. I think it should be a verbal warning not a strike or a removal

I don't think a removal of staff is necessary. He was trying to stop someone from breaking the rules and didn't have any malicious intent. However only Admin+ are able to conduct their own sit off duty, so I feel that a talking to and a verbal warning would suffice
