Level D personnel involved: 1 SCP: 1048 Errors and/or safety hazards: Possible breach, CI raid, door failure, power outages Question: Can 1048's screeches be softened with strongly modified ear defenders Background Research: SCP-1048 is a small teddy bear, approximately 33 cm in height. Hypothesis: The screeches can be muffled by the eardefs Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): One d class was placed in a room with 1 guard overseeing. 1048 was instructed to screech once everyone has left the room AFTER the d class was given the eardefs. Despite being through a soundproof room, the walls didn't mufle the scream and it resulted in the death of 2 nearby SO's. Analysis and Conclusion: The eardefs were proven not adequate for countering this SCP's ability.
