What you want to see? - full lockdowns and the admin lockdowns being bought back Why should we add it? - Often GENSEC will have to deal with riots that last 20 minutes or higher adding in both the full lockdown and admin lockdown can help GENSEC have times when we dont have riots because D class dont want to sit in their little cell for long as it is very boring i think admin lockdowns should be no more then 3 minutes and only after a riot has gone on for 20+ minutes and a full lockdown can only be called by High command+ and only for big riots (10+ d class) What are the advantages of having this? - they admin lockdown (the tower buttons) can force a cooldown period so that GENSEC isnt playing a game of TDM for 1 hour Who is it mainly for? - GENSEC/D class Links to any content - N/A additional info: yes im aware that if a new D class logs on and is forced into their cell it can be very boring for them however for GENSEC playing a game of TDM for 20+ minutes isnt why we joined the server. 1 "A good soldier obeys without question. Full Lockdowns as well, but maybe less restriction. Berserkrpups Posted May 28, 2019 Share Posted May 28, 2019 - Support On an rp stand in this it makes sense, but if people are trapped in a cell RDM will occur a lot more frequently and people will leave the server as it would be very boring to the majority of the server. D-Class are able to endlessly respawn until they get lucky and kill a few GENSEC, allowing them to escape during the resulting NLR. Reimplementing this and putting it under the control of either mid to high command of GENSEC, or low to high command of MTF with staff approval will more effectively balance the divide between D-Class and GENSEC, while ensuring that it won't be abused since it requires staff approval. Susel Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 + support D-class riots often become uncontrollable and GenSec start to need the help if MTF, who are often busy with reconating SCP's and stopping CI. Also riots sometimes last hours with CI raids, so GenSec have no chance aganist endless wrenches and deagles rushing them + CI who are pretty OP. But not a full one. The difference is that a full lockdown. Ask d-class are kos outside of cell. But magnetic lockdown is just licking the cells then gensec move into lower d-block. We could as the special keycard scanner. Only let lvl 3 and higher clearance. Getting tired of D class initating nonstop riots and having to sit in the hall way with MTF/Security and research being unable to do their jobs. The only lockdown that will be implemented is the one where the doors are locked. They are to be maximum 5 minutes, and can only be authorized by Security Col+.
