What you want to see? -  to add Peacetime in game(you cannot commit crime and you must RP, if you get pulled over you must pull over and not run etc)

Why should we add it? - increases RP

What are the advantages of having this? - It’s not madness 24/7

Who is it mainly for? - everyone

So in GTA Five M, they have this too. So maybe at the bottom right of the screen have text that says Peacetime Enabled or something. And do it every hour or do it every 30 mins. Peacetime means no crime and you must RP every situation out.

So what about people with printers? They have to destroy and rebuy their printers every 30-60 minutes?

No, you are allowed to base, but if you get caught, like if PD raids, you can’t shoot, you give up.

Or there could he rules in peacetime as well, for example it only qualifies for Traffic Stops and minor infractions and let raids and robberies continue. Or you could go full on and have no come and only RP.

  • Having to surrender possibly millions of dollars of printers without shooting would suck
  • Cops would be very bored
  • Make people not want to play on criminal

The only reason this works on FiveM is because its not as focused on combat and PVP as this server.

PoliceRP is not mean't to be calm and peaceful. Chaos and interesting situations both passive and aggressive is what makes it fun.

In FiveM, they call it a “Priority Cooldown”. This is when all crime is suppressed entirely for a certain amount of time. Usually 20 minutes or something around that. However, on FiveMcthe server cap is 32. On PoliceRP, it is 100.

Crime rates are usually way higher on PoliceRP because of the amount of players on there. Meaning there are a lot of more RP situations happening at the same time. If we were to have a “Priority Cooldown”, this would very much limit RolePlay. Priority Cooldowns are usually used when there is an active priority, so that no one will interrupt in it, or so that no one will cause another priority, so that there won’t be tons of chaos. Adding this will just be boring.

If SMT ever feels the crime is getting too hectic for PD to handle, we’ll always hop on PD and help out. I’ve done events where we suited up the PD and did a “Domestic Terrorist Unit”, where I basically just buffed the armor of Police to like 120 and gave them better weapons to use.

All in all, I think this would be boring for the players and it really isn’t what we need. Plus, martial law is also supposed to serve as a way of temporarily stopping crime as well. So it basically serves the same purpose as a “Peace Time”. The only difference is a “Peace Time” would comepletely stop RP from happening, such as running from the cops, or shooting the police. It would make Police invencible, and criminals helpless. That’s not fair in my opinion.

Denied. The SMT team for this server has decided against adding this suggestion for performance reasons, the benefit to the server, or another unstated reason
