So I heard about ARU being added to the server and all that but I want to know where the community had a say. We are not informed of any changes occurring in GamingLight and I'm just irritated. CERT is being removed to only one job because of ARU. So that means people who have worked very hard to get the rank that they deserve are just being thrown under the bus because SMT is making these decisions without informing anybody. I'm an ATL in CERT and I've worked hard for it but now CERT is nothing because SMT said so, not the community. We are not informed about anything at all with changes and we deserve to know. Wheres the poll for changing the map or adding ARU or changing CERT? Right, there is none. SMT does these do benefit themselves but are not thinking about the community. That's my opinion, if SMT doesn't like it I will happily remove it. - P.S. Please do not call me disrespectful for making this post. I have my right to my opinion. Cherry Force Posted November 28, 2018 Share Posted November 28, 2018 Honestly, + support I feel like there have been a ton of changes (for better or worse) that are major changes that noone has really been made aware of. Some people like the new (old) map, some don't. Some people wanted ARU, a lot didn't. I feel like players make suggestions and they either go right or wrong, but we always have to get community feedback when we are talking about updating and improving the community. With the downgrade of cert, the removal of BSI, NSA, and the adding of ARU among other changes that have been made without going to the community, I feel like the players are really just forced to deal with whatever the heads of the server decide for us, instead of making it a community effort to improve. Also, kinda doesn't reflect great (in my opinion) that the hardworking players of the server are getting demotes and removed from their departments out of nowhere and ARU is getting headed by high staff who created it in the first place. I played over three months in State alone and I just got into CERT and now it is just getting removed. My question is just why? Why doesn't the community have any say? Why do we have such little to do with the server although some of us have been on the server for over a year. Overall i'm just not behind the addition of ARU and the removal of CERT. I also feel that now State will now be meaningless, and that State will be the "outskirts pd" without our own sub-division of CERT. Now reread that last sentence please, we had two departments removed due to inactivity and I feel that will unfortunately happen to State as well. I hate to say this, but this post is just awful. People spend literally thousands of hours on these servers every day to spend time with friends and roleplay and it is only fair that the community is able to have a voice in the community. Yea hate to say it but I disagree with Stormzz 100%, people dedicate so much time to have some fun. It's totally unfair to all of CERT that they get ranked down to a secondary tac unit because of ARU being re-added back into the server and SMT didn't even notify them prior to making a decision. We were all in the dark. Popular Post Gaur Posted November 28, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted November 28, 2018 It's mega disappointing to see that they would remove CERT jobs essentially killing the Sub-Division, especially when there have been multiple occasions where they said this would not happen. State does not deserve this in their current state, there have been multiple changes in power and now one of the biggest benefactors State is being removed. There is no question this will affect the population and application rate of state police. Even if its just a "Sub Division" there is still a commander and multiple commanding officers in it that are affected by this decision, let alone the future High Command of State Police. It truly is unfortunate that CERT Jobs are being removed after the command has worked so hard to revive it and the commander has done such an amazing job at getting members. I personally liked the idea of ARU, but I don't think its right to take things away from the people that have worked so hard for them, especially when they didn't do anything to deserve to get them removed. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Popular Post ArmyGuy Posted November 28, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted November 28, 2018 I've already told all command of tac branches to meet up, so everyone can calm down CERT originally wasn't being removed for ARU to come back, we had other reasons, which I will not say here because I'm not writing a paragraph I don't understand why you think SMT is so selfish We sit our asses up all day some of us, working for the community making fixes, repairs, updates etc. just because eof this one event happening, everyone goes off on all of SMT which is really unfortunate to hear.
