New Job/Class Name: Epsilon Squad: Vale

- Current loadout: Keys, Cc2018_dc17m_red, cc2018_dc17ms_red, rw_sw_bino_white, alydus_fusioncutter, cross_arms_swep cross_arms_infront_swep salute_swep, com_dc15p_red_, dradio, activity_logger, bkeycard, zeus_flashbang
Add: heavy_shield, cc2018_dc17msg_red, and zeus_thermaldet
Remove: zeus_smokegrenade

Reason for change: Epsilon Squad is replacing the weirdly placed Crimson squad in a way that differentiates them from Omega Squad which was a long lasting problem while also making it its own independent squad.

Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Epsilon is going to be a hostage negotiations squad and more cqc breaching focused. This brings a whole new focus for IC and the server as a whole

This brings a whole new focus for IC and the server as a whole. Witt will be the engineer of the squad

Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Riggs will be acting as a heavy weapons expert we think its fair that with the addition of the Z6i we exchange the jetpack for the grappling hook the grappling hook makes it so that if riggs were to have any mobility he wouldn't be able to use the Z6i

I would like to point out this and things may have changed from when I was boss but I don't think changing the models is needed or would be accepted in general. Also part of the issue with Crimson back when I was in CMD was trying to make it unique from Omega but it was hard as IC is already fully spec ops and being an extra redacted squad like Omega meant the two were always fighting for members or one would be full while the other would struggle. I would love to see a new coat of paint on it though and hope IC will be able to support both squads.

 

Concerning Maroons Load out using the Valken38x instead of the IC Specific weapon of the DC17M sniper variant. I think maybe asking for a DRM variant maybe using green bolts would allow it to be more in line with the rest of IC weaponry. Also I don't remember the pathing names but if the cc2018_dual_dc15p_red are the dual DC17s then I know those were restricted to officers+ for certain reasons. Again maybe something to make it stick out for the whole squad along with their gameplay is to ask for the main guns repeated in the code, color variant changed to green, and the damage balanced for their type of gameplay. Would require a little more work to make it but might help it out more.

 

I want to support this though there are some things that either don't make since for IC to use or changes things in a way that I think might actually hurt IC. I do hope you can get it though if you think this will help IC though.

One of the biggest things IC struggled with when I was Boss was the uniqueness of the squads. Like Chrono said, one was always full and one was empty. Then the merge of crimson into snipers happened and it did not really help. I think changing crimson to a different squad giving it new SOPs (assuming they would unlink it from snipers because rusty said it would be CQC) would help. End of the day I am in the retirement home, so I fully believe if the current Boss feels this is a proper fix to the long lasting Crimson V Omega feud then I am in full support of it.

This is a great addition to the IC Battalion.
With a variety of weapons instead of a squad full of snipers.
