How long have you been in Naval?:

5/7/2024

Why do you wish to become a Senior Officer?:

I want to help bring the Naval back up to what it once was. When I was around, we had about 5 Navals on every day, and we did sims every day. I feel that as a Senior Officer, I can put in the work to start making changes. As a Senior Officer, I would work with all other naval officers to make sure we have active and happy Navals on at all times.

Nowadays, people don’t want to play on Naval because of how much RP there is, but I have thoughts on how to change this. The reason that I have always included in every one of my applications is that I have been around for about 4 to 5 years, give or take. I know how the old Naval was, and now I know how the Naval can be made into a bigger Breach. I may not have been around for 2 years, but after all that time, I can see that the numbers of Naval have fallen, and I wish to make sure that Naval can never die out.

Just by talking to Coolnic, I can see how much he loves the Naval, and I like how much work he puts in to make the Naval into what it is, but it wouldn’t hurt to keep a few more people who know how to lead by his side. Unlike other people going to apply for Senior Officer, I have a lot more experience with Naval and how it works.

In the past, I have been in many different command positions (Seventh Sister, Vice Sov, Shock COL, and Naval Captain) with all of that, I have come to understand that I need to be a leader when it is time to lead and be fun when it is downtime. I became a GM to host events and Sims for Shock and Naval, but now that I have left Shock, I now can do more for Naval by doing more sims and events for Naval to make sure they have more fun. Now we all know that Naval isn’t as fun as the other breaches, and some call us all RP and no fun, but we know how much work gets put into the RP. I know we can start doing sims where we have to put on our ground armor make our way out to a planet cut off the rebels' comms, and then send in the forces. There is a lot that the Naval can do.

What are the duties of a Senior Officer?:

As a Naval Senior Officer on the server, I would be entrusted with a range of responsibilities that help your peers and other members of the ISD towards success. You lead by example, providing guidance and direction to your crew and members of the ISD. Your experience is used to mentor newer members of Naval recruits, imparting knowledge and strategies to make them the best Naval they can be. From what I can tell, a lot of Naval don't know how to fully RP, so I can help with fixing that.

As a Senior Officer in the Naval, your duties will cover a lot of ground. Here's a quick rundown of everything that a Naval Senior Officer would do

Leading and commanding naval personnel during operations are a big part of the Naval and of Officers, make strategic decisions plays a big part as well because many people don’t understand that being an Officer can mean the difference from if someone has a good rp time or a bad one, and coordinate with other branches like the Army.

Training and mentoring are big parts of the job, ensuring recruits know our protocols, how to do /me, and helping junior officers advance.

Roleplay is essential within the GL Community and even more essential with Naval. Sticking to lore is a very hard thing to do on the server, but Senior Officers need to know all of the show lore and in-game lore, lead RP events and interact with players to create an immersive narrative. Communication is key many people within Naval Command don’t talk to our lower-ranking members and I feel that the job of a senior officer is to connect everyone's ideas, acting as the lead of the Naval most of the time. Clear communication within our ranks is ensured by senior officers who converse with and comprehend members of other branches.

To put it briefly, a senior officer's job entails strategy development, leadership, training, a lot of roleplay, communication, and breach engagement to make sure the Navy is the finest in the business.

How will you assist the battalion as a Senior Officer?:

My experience as a Senior Officer will be valuable. I've been in the Navy for four or five years, and even though I took a sabbatical, I saw the changes and understood the areas in which we needed to improve. Many individuals on the server are aware of who I am and how hard I work to achieve my goals. I will go to whatever lengths to ensure that Naval is the best around if instructed to do so.

My major objective is to get more sims and events happening to enhance activity and engagement and ultimately encourage more people to have fun. I'm committed to restoring daily simulations and a positive work environment to the Naval. Okay, so sometimes playing the Sims isn't as enjoyable as it was when I was younger. As of right now, I've been working hard every day to make the Naval the best, and I have a lot of events scheduled that will help the Navy regain its prominence.

What qualifies you to be a Senior Officer?:

I served in the Navy for four or five years, so I have a lot of experience there. I've had a lot of leadership positions during this period, such as Vice Sovereign, Seventh Sister, Shock Colonel, and Naval Captain, all of which have strengthened my leadership abilities.

As a GM, I've hosted a lot of events and simulations, that help the server grow and change. Over the years I have made a lot of rules to make sure the server kept growing and it really as in the past I said that I was getting too old on the server and it was time for me to move on but what I didn’t realize was the server didn’t need me to leave it needed me to stay and work harder. My qualifications are that I have worked to make the server great for years stayed for a very long time and have 20+ weeks on the server alone. But my true amount of hours on GMOD is 14,000+ hours I have put everything I have into GMOD and I am ready to put more.

I have a deep understanding of lore and in-game roleplay, and I am committed to maintaining high standards of RP. I also focus on finding out how to make the Navy better than any other. That is why I went and learned how other branches work.
