As I've spent time on the server, I only have spent any serious time within Purge/IQ. I enjoy the time I've spent within the battalion and the friends I have made during said time here. I would like to aid in the development of the battalion to the best of my ability, as I have come to see Purge/IQ as my online community that I would like to maintain it at its best. At this time I believe that Purge/IQ are in a good position, but I believe it is hurting in terms of numbers. I would like to focus my efforts on increasing the number of players that are being brought in and, more importantly, maintaining long term players within the enlisted/NCO ranks. In summary, I would like to be in a command position within Purge/IQ because I want to use every resource I have available to advance the development of the battalion and provide an enjoyable experience for the members of the battalion. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I currently have 9 weeks on the server [roughly 1250 hours] 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of a battalion commander is to set an example for the battalion as a whole, maintain order by addressing problems within the battalion, and maintaining/editing documents. A commander is the head of the battalion and acts as the leader and primary role model of what members of the battalion should strive to be. Commanders also act as a voice for the battalion members among the command members during meetings. This of course allows issues within the commander's battalion to be brought forth to higher ranking, more experienced members who may be able to aid in solving any inner issues. While maintaining order within the battalion, the commander must know how to properly communicate with their battalion. Being too strict or too lenient each have their own set problems, so it is important to find a firm balance between the two that allows for the battalion's standards to be upheld while also keeping a calm atmosphere that is more welcoming for new players. Being capable of mediating between players within your battalion is also very important for keeping the peace within the battalion, as arguments are sure to escalate within the battalion at any given point in time and the commander must be capable of de-escalating the situation. This does not solely remain within their own battalion of course. As issues have been known to come up between battalions and their members, it is important for a commander to be able to rationally come to a compromise or general solution to the matter with the input of any other battalion's commander who may be involved. Communication outside of the commander's own battalion is just as important as their ability to communicate with the members of their own battalion. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I have had time to grow with the battalion and have become familiar with its inner-workings. I wish for nothing more than the battalions continued growth and development. As such, I would like to aid the battalion to the best of my abilities. That being said, I believe I have developed a good relationship with all of the serious members of Purge/IQ. I also have a firm grasp on when to be heavy handed and when to keep a light hearted tone, so as to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for newer players while also keeping players in line in order to keep order and respect within the battalion. Regarding my personal responsibilities on the server as well, I have always strived to meet my quota to the best of my ability while also providing an entertaining experience for players. I enjoy bringing the community together for an activity that is enjoyable for the players. When presented with a situation that requires me to make a choice that impacts multiple people, in real life as well as in game, I take in the opinions of those around me so that I may make a decision that either reaches a compromise among the people or satisfies that majority party. I am highly active on the server and when I am not active, I am using my AFK hours to build funds for sims and trainings. I actively accrue a relatively large amount of GC specifically for this, as I have no personal use for it. I use it as a motivator for not just my own battalion, as I prefer hosting sims that include more of the server, but for all players. I see it as an incentive for them to engage each other in a social, OOC environment. I am highly dedicated to this server, as I have come to love the community I have found here. I wish to see my battalion, as well as the others, grow and flourish. And so long as it is within my power, I will do what I can do make that happen. 7. How often can you be Online? : I am typically online around 4pm-9:30pm Pacific Time M-F, and I am usually available from 12pm PT Saturday and Sunday. I want to become a commander of this branch because I have been apart of IQ for a long time now and I believe that I have what it takes to move to the next level. I am currently Overseer/COL and I am also SHG Senior Honor Guard in royal guard (CPT equivalent) so I have a lot of experience in the inquisitors branch. From my time in IQ I have learnt how to lead troopers and how to train people to be the best members of IQ they can be. I also want to become a member of IQ command because the inquisitors are my favourite group in star wars lore. I also believe that I can be able to live up to the image of the inquisitors, It would be a great honour to be apart of the IQ command team and I believe I would be a great addition to the team 4. The main purpose of a commander for a branch is to lead and train troops, they should also host sims and missions for branches to provide entertainment and fun for the people in the branch. They should also be making sure that players in their branch are following server rules and branch rules set before them on the sop and imperial rulings. They should also be making sure that officers are achieving their SIM quota and NCOs are achieving their tryout and training quota. Commanders should also set a level of seriousness for troops to follow and assist new troopers with any questions or queries that they may have. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I believe I should be trusted as a commander because I have no warns in the server, I am very dedicated to IQ and I believe I can assist the current IQ command members to make the branch a great and fun place to be in, I am willing and able to uphold the rules set before me and also are willing to learn the ways to becoming not only a great commander and also a great 9th sister. 7. (In Game Name): Iceberkk | The Eighth Brother Why do you want to become the position of Field Commander?: I want to become the position of Field Commander | High Command position because I have good leadership I know how a High Command ranks works as well as I am the Head GM which is technically a High Command position not RP but work the same as how a RP High Command would I have experience making changes as well as adding things to make the battalion a much better place to be in and I think that me as a High Command member can achieve that. I have a lot of ambition but in the good way and I’m willing to do what I can to be useful to the High Command and Senior High Command team as well as to help the other battalions and lower ranking command members even so if you are from another branch those not means that you will be limited to only that branch you will try to help as much as you can as well as to be as useful as you can to other people I have been wanting to be part of the High Command team for a while and for me it will be a big achievement on this server as well as it would make me happy to help if I get accepted to be one more member of your High Command team I have learned a bunch since I got to this server as well as since I got the rank of Vice Commander | GM High Command | and JMT I have achieved a lot on this server but being able to be a RP High Command member would be a really cool thing as well as I would be able to do more for this beautiful server and the people that play on it and comes to have fun and get good memories in it. What is the purpose of a Field Commander?: The purpose of a Field Commander | High Command is to Oversee the lower ranking command members which in this case are Vice Commander, Commander, Senior Commander, as well as to make sure that the branches are good in this case there are assignments that obviously a High Command will have in this case for IQ there are 3 High Command members the Field Commander the High Inquisitor and The Grand inquisitor Every single one of those positions will oversee one battalion/Branch EX: Field Commander will oversee Royal Guard and it will make sure to do changes as well as to make sure the battalion is in a good position Overseeing the Command team of that branch as well as helping the other branches even though if the High Command member is not assigned to it the same goes to the rest of the positions High IQ will oversee Purge and Grand IQ will oversee Inquisitorius. What do you want to see?: One of the many things IQ and RG have pride in is their dueling capabilities. They want to boast their proficiencies in lightsaber combat and they want to have bragging rights when being the best in the art of lightsaber combat. This system will not only allow more competition within Inquistorious branches, but also allow people to acknowledge the best duelist on the server. Here is how this system will work: - Every week at a specific date and time, IQ Command will host a dueling tournament to determine the duelist of the week - The person who wins the duelist of the week tournament will hold the title of "Duelist of the Week" and they will receive a special spot on the roster and will receive 1 FREE SITH HOLOCRON from the Holocron registry system - Everyone who partakes in the dueling tournament will switch to Apprentice Job and GM will give them HP 2000 and Armor 200 -If there is already a Duelist of the week, the winner of the dueling tournament will fight the current Duelist of the week to claim the title for themselves Rules and regulations: - You have to be apart of IQ, Purge, or RG to partake in the Dueling Tournament - People can still challenge the Duelist of the Week on their own time with the following conditions: - GM must be present to set HP to 2000 and Armor to 200 - IQ VCDMR+ must witness this duel for it to be valid - Both players must be on the Apprentice job for the duel to be valid - If the Duelist of the week loses the challenge, he will lose the Duelist of the week title and it will be given to the challenger - Duelist of the week MUST accept at least 1 challenge per day to keep their title (If no one challenges the duelist of the week, this rule is voided) - After the 1 challenge, the Duelist of the week doesn't have to accept any more challenges unless the player wishes to accept more challenges - If the Duelist of the Week is on LOA/ROA, the title will be automatically stripped from the player - If the Duelist of the Week is inactive for 3 days or more, the title will be stripped - Holocrons will ONLY be given out after the dueling tournament has concluded - If the Duelist of the Week does not show up to the Dueling tournament, the player voluntarily is stripped of the Duelist of the week title and the title will go to the person who wins the Dueling tournament Why should we add it?: We should add this because it gives more incentive to IQ to improve their dueling skills in lightsaber combat. Usually, I would see lightsaber users use force reflect, lightning strike, or other force powers to fight instead of dueling Jedi. Although using force powers is a viable strategy, it weakens people's ability to conduct lightsaber combat which is one of our many skills to be proficient at in IQ. The Second reason is to add more reasons for people to join Inquistorious branches. Whenever I get on the server and it is Defcon 5, IQ doesn't really have anything to do. Sure, there may be an occasional SIM, but other than that, we either AFK in bunks or duel each other. Instead of dueling each other to appease our boredom, I want to create competition and ambition for people in IQ to strive for. I want players to want to play IQ more and having a duelist-of-the-week system will get that to happen. What are the advantages of having this?: There are a lot of advantages to having this system in place. The first advantage is to give more Holocrons to people. I have noticed that GMs don't give out that many holocrons on off-ship events because it either doesn't fit the narrative of their event or doesn't think it is important to spawning holocrons for Inquistorious. If we have the Duelist of the Week system in place, the utilization of the Holocron registry will become much more apparent and will give people more rewards for becoming better duelists. The second advantage of having this is getting bragging rights. I always love competitions and competitive spirit and believe that the Inquistorious branches will also have competitive spirits. Hypothetically, if the duelist of the week is an RG member, the RG branch will be very happy and IQ and Purge will have the incentive to practice dueling to reclaim their spot as the best dueling branch. This system will create a friendly rivalry between IQ and RG which will spark more people to join Inquistorious and create an exciting environment for people to partake in. I want to help IQ in any way I can. I will be as active on the Second Sister as I have been on the Seventh Sister. I'm always trying to think of what our people want and how we can implement it into current gameplay. I stand by my people in their times of struggle as well as their times of success. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of an IQ commander is to help your vice commanders effectively take care of your people. As a commander you are tasked with setting the best example for all those who look up to you. The IQ commander must balance serious role play with creating a fun and stress-free environment for all the troops. They are also in charge of taking info from SMT, JMT, and HCOM and disseminating it to all the proper levels of low command, officers, NCOs, and enlisted. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I have done my duties effectively and kept up with all my requirements as a vice commander. When I was unable to do this last month I made sure my command team knew why. I am all about communication. I do not rush to decisions or make them on my own, we have a whole team at our disposal for command for a reason. Gaminglight Imperial RP needs people who are willing to make changes to help the server continue to grow. Whether those changes be big or small they are always coming out with new updates as well as past documents being reviewed. I also intend to keep a close eye on the whole IQ branch while in command. What Is Your In Game Name?: Hiroshima What Is Your SteamID?: STEAM_0:1:67919358 How Long Have You Been In IQ?: 3 weeks Have You Been In Purge, If so, What Rank Were/Are You?: I was a Purge BDS SFC 1 year ago Why Would You Like To Become The Rank Of 2LT/Lord VI?: I would like to become the rank of Lord VI for a couple of reasons. The first reason I want to become the rank of Lord VI is to be able to give out more rewards and commendations to IQ Enlisted and NCOs. One thing I've noticed as an NCO is IQ isn't being fully recognized for its accomplishments on this server. This includes missing out on promotions in events, not receiving Galactic Credit rewards, and not feeling a sense of drive to move up the ranks of IQ. This is not the fault of IQ Lore as they have multiple duties they have to perform, however, I wish to alleviate their responsibilities by becoming Lord VI. I will frequently give out promotions to apprentices who do well in events, regularly conduct simulations for IQ, and overall, give a sense to the IQ enlisted of a command structure to look up to. All I need is a chance to make that happen. The second reason I wish to become a Lord VI is to have my voice heard within the Inquistorius. I have multitudes of ideas when it comes to the IQ branch, but my ideas would never fester if I stayed as a NCO. Me giving ideas to the command teams is kind of like an ST PVT entering Purge Bunks. They try to convince you that you shouldn't kill them for multiple reasons, yet you take it with a grain of salt and still kill them. In order for my ideals to be heard, getting to Lord VI is necessary as my voice will hold some weight in the room instead of a ST PVT waiting to be ignored. I want to give suggestions and ideas to make IQ the best branch on this server, and I need Officer rank in order to make that happen. The third and final reason I wish to become Lord VI is to get further through my ambitious plan to become HCOM. I'll admit that I am aiming for a high rank, but I'm just not the type of person to be satisfied with an officer rank. I'm not the type of person to be stuck at an officer rank and do the minimum amount of work to maintain my rank. I aim to be higher than that and hopefully, I will get Grand Inquisitor at some point in my Gaminglight Career. However, in order for me to achieve this goal, I must prove myself as an officer by working insurmountable hours on the job and showing to the command team that I am willing to work my way up to High Command. I view Lord VI as the way to get me to my goal of HCOM and I wish IQ Command will give me the chance to make it a reality. What Could You Bring To The Inquisitorious Officer Team?: From the previous question, I mentioned that I can give out ideas for the IQ branch. One of the responsibilities of an Officer is to make the branch the most fun and most excited thing for new players on the server, which is why instead of being passive and only conducting minimum amounts of work for the branch, I will become proactive and make the branch better through suggestions and ideas. My first idea is making IQ Assassin an actual sub-branch instead of just a random job. One of the appeals for a branch is to join a sub-branch within the regiment you are joining and the reason behind that is you can get promoted in other ways instead of just normal promotions. For example, for Purge Brawler and Purge Heavy, both sub-branches have a rank structure and a Command team for those sub-branches, and yet, Inquistorious doesn't have an equivalent. I believe IQ Assassin should be made a sub- branch in order for more people to join IQ and to give people the opportunity to rank up in IQ besides normal promotions. This is one of the great ideas I have in mind for the IQ branch and if I become IQ officer, I can make these ideas flourish. The second idea I have in mind is working with RG a lot more in the future. Through my time as NCOs, I've noticed that Royal Guards and IQ never do anything together. Sure, we might have the occasional dueling tournament, but when it comes to Royal Guard Hunting Simulations, missions, or just regular SIMs in general, IQ and Royal Guards don't do anything together. As Lord VI, I will be conducting a lot more cross-battalion SIMs in order to increase the reputation of IQ and to improve branch relations on this server. I will make sure that IQ is a branch that will be invited to partake in SIMs and missions and that is a promise. The third and final idea I have is to be able to have IQ Lore mark people for assassinations on Defcon 5. In the current SOP of IQ Assassins, it states that only IQ HCOM can mark people for assassination which makes sense as only HCOM can order kill orders. However, I still believe it should be lowered to IQ lore characters for a couple of reasons. The first reason is I believe the people in the positions of IQ Lore are trustworthy enough to not abuse this power. My logic is if they were trustworthy enough to get one of the top ranks in the IQ branch as IQ Lore, then they should be trustworthy enough to not abuse marking people for assassination. My second reason for this idea is it will make IQ Assassin a lot more appealing. Currently, there are only 2 people who can actually order a mark for assassination which is the High IQ and the Grand IQ. If those people are not on or AFK on the server, then the job of IQ Assassin is essentially useless. If we have more people that are able to give out marks for assassination, then the job will be a lot more appealing to people and they will play more IQ. The third and final reason is to give more RP to IQ. When it is Defcon 5, there is essentially no RP that IQ can actually do on their jobs. All IQ actually do is either AFK in bunks or duel in bunks but other than that, IQ has nothing to do. So, I propose that enabling the RP of assassinations will give people a reason to get on the IQ job and play. Do You Have Any Previous Officer Experience?: Yes. As of right now, I have currently 8,246 hours on Gmod and 80% of that time is me playing serious RP servers. I have been in multiple leadership positions on multiple Serious RP servers, but I will only focus on this server and my experiences here. Back in December 2020, I was in the lore position of "Tenn Graneet" and I was a Commander in Naval at the time. I was also the Naval Overseer for Havoc (which made me have the power of about Havoc COL at that time). Not only did I have to present leadership to my subordinates in Naval, but I also had to conduct leadership within Havoc as well. Anyone who has a leadership position or had one in the past knows it is extremely difficult to present leadership to your subordinates. You have to have your subordinates respect you, you have to give out orders in tense situations, and you have to discipline your men if they step out of line. Luckily I have a lot of experience when it comes to leadership, so I generally know what I'm doing when I become an officer. However, the biggest thing that people don't tell when you are an officer is you will fail at some point. You are going to mess up an order, give a really harsh punishment when you didn't mean it, let your emotions get the best of you, and among other things. I have failed multiple times when it came to leading men, but I have learned from my past mistakes, so I will never perform those mistakes again when I am an officer. Another notable leadership position that I was on this server was Deputy Squad Lead of Inferno Squadron before it was a sub battalion for Naval. I was also a Deputy Head of Inferno Intelligence while I was in Inferno Squadron so I have pretty accustomed for managing regiments and sub-branches of battalions on Gaminglight Imperial RP. Currently, I am a Shock 2LT and I have plently of experience of dealing with people out of line because I constantly have to deal with STs out of line xD. Anyways, I believe I have the nesscary experience to conduct myself as an officer as I have multiple experiences to my name as an officer. I want to become a commander for this branch because I have been playing in IQ for a very long time, I'm a Lord VIII/CPT in IQ and Purge and I'm Royal Guard IV so I have lots of experience in the IQ branch, I believe that I can help grow the branch and make it a better place and make IQ a more fun group to be apart of. It would be a great honour to be apart of the IQ command team and I believe I would be a great addition to the team. I have lots of experience in Gmod with a total of 843.2 hours on steam, I believe I can provide some great missions, events, and SIM's for the branch, when I originally joined IQ, I remember the 9th sister assisted me with everything I needed and I want to uphold that legacy by being nice to new people and help as a commander for the betterment of the branch. 4. I believe the commander's role in a branch is to lead the other troopers to become the best they can be, and help progress the branch to a place where everyone has fun and enjoys to branch. Commanders should also set an example of seriousness for all troopers to aspire to and should also assist new troopers if they need help with anything. Commanders should help by providing activity's like SIM's, missions, events and trainings to keep activity and interest in the branch. Commanders should keep all the troopers in line and make sure that the troopers are following the rules set on the IQ sop. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I think I should be trusted as a commander because I am very dedicated to IQ and although I wasn't as active recently I am now back to being active. I love the IQ branch and am dedicated to uphold the rules set before me and make sure that the other troopers are following them too. It is my goal if I were to become the 9th sister to make IQ a better place, I respect the effort that the IQ command team puts in to making IQ better and I believe I would be up to the task and we be a great addition to the team. 7. Why do you want to be a vice commander of this branch? : I absolutely love IQ and as always I wish to improve on it, I am one if not the most dedicated member of IQ as I've been around for quite some time now. I have also been Second Sister and Seventh Sister for such a long time now and I know what it takes to be in command of IQ. I do so much for the branch and I wanna expand upon it a lot more, like I have in past experiences. I usually try and communicate with the whole branch to become close with everyone in it, it builds trust between us and proves that I wish to better IQ. I want nothing but the best for IQ as most of the people on the server can back me up on this matter considering I play hardly anything but IQ, plus I'd say I'm a pretty great leader when it comes to this branch in the Empire. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? : I have 11 weeks on the server so far. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a vice commander for a branch? : The main purpose of a vice commander is to make sure the troops stay in line, grow the battalion and to have active members. The commander must basically be a role model for the troops and to communicate with the officers, NCO's and the enlisted. It is the commanders job to keep the roster up to date and to hold trainings for the troops as well as keep up with the promotions. If there is anything that needs changing in the battalion the vice commander would be the one to make sure these changes happen. They need to also introduce punishments to those who misbehave and disobey orders, basically troops or IQ that step out of line. Why should we trust you to be a vice commander? : Well as I've said before I am pretty dedicated to IQ and I've been proving it ever since I came back. I have started to really increase the amount of SIMS and Trainings we do on the branch and hopefully people are starting to see that. I put a lot of heart into the job as I try to improve it all the time, I want nothing but IQ to thrive and make it enjoyable for everyone that plays on IQ. I believe there’s a lot of purposes for a Vice Commander in a Battalion. However, their main purpose is to help out their Commander and High Command by theoretically lifting a weight off of their shoulders and helping out in any way, shape, or form by keeping things in order and running to the best of their abilities. A Vice Commander can do a few things to help out their command such as: Being a role Model: A Vice Commander should always be a role model to their Officers, NCOs, and Enlisted by setting a standard of how they should strive to be. A Vice Commander is the face of a battalion and they are always representing their Battalion and must always be Mature to set an example for their subordinates. If a Vice Commander were to minge or try to instigate other players not only would it make the Battalion look bad but I would be a horrible example for their subordinates. Asking their subordinates for their Opinions: A Vice Commander should always be checking in on their battalion and asking for their subordinates opinions on things, changes they want, and or what their Soldiers want to see more of. They should also repeatedly look over SOPs for any new changes in them and enforce them onto their Subordinates at all times Looking over and keeping their Battalion in line and active: A Vice Commander has a list of things to keep their Battalion running and active. Making sure NCOs reach their quota by having them host tryouts and having new recruits join our ranks is a very important thing on the list. Making sure the Officers of the Battalion are active and hosting SIMs/Trainings. Instead of having everyone in their Battalion sitting at PCP or bunks, A Vice Commander should keep them active and set up activities for the Battalion to keep them engaged and entertained regardless of what the activity is. Inquisitorius is an amazing experience and hugely different then other branches for several reasons. Firstly, Purge and IQ (And RG) gain access to a rare thing that is big in the server called “Skill Points” and using these skill points can gain increased HP, Speed, & Armor which is highly important in my opinion but sadly a lot of people join Purge just for those then leave and the same happens with IQ. I wanna help build IQ into a large Community with Donating IQ and Purge so we fight alongside each other. Another thing I wanna do is get Dueling each other back into a little competition like it once was. I also feel like IQ and Purge have been slowing down into more of just getting on Battalion and standing around. I hope to increase SIM’s, activities, or even more that might come to mind. I have done this before so I plan to do it once again. I would also wanna do my best by increasing activity by possibly doing giveaways or tournaments for Galactic credits depending on the days because that’s always fun to do and participate in as well. Firstly, I am an Assistant Head Gamemaster and I run the Event team for ImperialRP. I was a Vice Marshal for Starfighter and I ran that for a while until I felt like it was a good time to leave, my intention wasn’t to stay for that. And, I was a High Command member for SCP, a Colonel which sadly isn’t considered HCMD anymore but was considered HCMD at the time.
