Why do you WANT to become a Gamemaster?: I would like to become a gamemaster so that I can host events for the public and make sure that everyone is having a fun time on the server. I want to become a Gamemaster because I want to be able to host public missions, off ship and on ship events as well to make sure that people are not getting bored on the server and that they would like to stay on the server for a bit longer. Another reason for why I want to become a Gamemaster is because I want to be able to get other regiments involved in events and make sure that they all get to partake no matter what they do. Why should you be trusted to be a Game Master?: You should trust me to be a gamemaster due to the fact of me never being banned on any gaminglight server, and I have got a lot of experience with being a Gamemaster. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: On-Ship: A bounty hunter has come aboard the ship needing fuel as he was on his way to tattoine to deal with the huts. On his way he could go any further in hyperspace until he got fuel and came across our ship. He contacted the ISD and requested to land and asked if they have any fuel they could spare. He got into the Main Hangar bay and came out of the ship with his "pet". The pet was grouling and hissing at the troopers and the pet got of his lead and started attacking people. For some reason the pet had an explosive on his back and went towards the engine core. He blew up with the Engine core with it. The ISD had to transfer all the troopers to the Light cruiser and get another ISD. Off-ship: An ISB agent has come to inform us of a rebel base on tattoine. He says that they have Jedi and a lot of rebels on the base, he also says that their is rebels on their with classified information about ISB that no one is aloud to know and threatens them with that information. A scout trooper is on the hills and then snipes them from a far. The information is given back to the ISB Agent. The Imperials continue to march on and attack the rebels and take control of the base. Purge and IQ attack the jedi while the rest attack the troopers. The Imperials defeat all of the troopers but experience losses from a lot of people. We commemorate their life and continue on. What do you want to see?: I feel that navigation on the server might be a little more difficult than it should be. I found an addon that might make Naval's job a whole lot easier. Why should we add it?: It makes navigation through star systems very easy and it would save a lot of hassle. I have been playing around a bit in singleplayer with the addon and I have found it to be very useful. What are the advantages of having this?: It is more fun and immersive in my opinion, and I think it would make Naval's communication better as well. I’ve been a huge fan of the series since I was 8, I’ve seen all Star Wars movies, Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, and the first 2 seasons of the Clone Wars. I love reading legends/non-canon stories (like the fate of the jedi book series) and updating my knowledge of the Star wars universe with Wookieepedia is very important to me. Star Wars is easily my favorite fictional universe. Why do you WANT to become a Gamemaster?: I want to become a gamemaster because I love this server and it’s community. I want to contribute more and make an entertaining environment to convince more people to stay on the server. I’ve participated as an event actor several times and talked to many gamemasters, so I have a large idea of what GMs do. I want to share my creativity with the server and provide all players with a reason to keep playing. I also want to host frequent sims for other officers, because I know how agonizing it is trying to host SIMs for quotas, and yet no one responds to your SIT, and that’s why I’m going to exceed my quota for events/sims and help them out. I can also host my own SIMs to multitask in completing multiple quotas. Why should you be trusted to be a Game Master?: I believe I am trust worthy, but trust is subjective. So I’ll tell you why I think I should be trusted. I love this community, and I want to contribute to it, not make it worse. I have spent a lot of time and money on this server and know it pretty well. I know what players like and don’t like. I have a good track record, with only 1 warn despite my 3+ weeks (total time) on the server. And it’s been around 3-4 months since I’ve joined GM, and I hope you will let me earn my trust and prove I deserve to be a GM. Are you familiar/experienced with ULX?: I am very familiar with ULX. I experiment on private worlds with my friends, I event act a tonne, and I do many SIMs. I know all of the basics like how to make votes, model people, give items, strip people, teleport, noclip, cloak ETC ETC, and I also have many hundreds of hours on Gmod, so I would say I am pretty well experienced with ULX and ULIB. Are you experienced with being a Game Master and how they function?: I am very familiar with how gamemasters function, as I’ve seen/helped several GMs. Many of my friends have been GMs and I known the rules quite well. As I’ve played this server for quite a while I’d like to assume I know most of the rules of GM. I have only briefly been an actual functioning GM, however, and that was when I was much less understanding of ULX and Gmod in general. Overall I have a lot of knowledge on gamemasters duties and regulations. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: On-ship: A prisoner (event actor) is transported to the debrief room for a public court hearing. They are charged with aiding rebels. 2 event actors to be the lawyer and prosecutor are debating over evidence provided by the judge. The players watching may testify as a witness, or provide other evidence by being called to the stand. To add extra interactivity the jury (5-10 players) will get to vote on the sentence. Either it ends with the prisoner being provided a ship (driven by me on ISB job) off the ISD and transportation onto a safe planet, or they are publicly executed (Assuming it’s a semi-passive and not a passive.) If it is a passive, they will be put back in prison. This type of event allows for player creativity, interaction, and overall enjoyment. Off-ship: The empire lands on Endor to find an imperial occupied mine. A rebel had been tracked down to this location so the empire investigates with scrutiny. The civilians swore allegiance to the empire and said they had no weapons. Under further investigation a building was walled off from the inside. When asked, the villagers responded with “only the mayor has the key.” The empire then search the planet for the mayor. Upon finding him, he is found with a green lightsaber. The villagers turn hostile and the empire battles the mini-militia. Afterwards an orbital bombardment commences, decimating the village. Would require 3-4 event actors and be a passive-combat switch. You must go into the context menu, then navigate to weapons and search your desired item in the search bar, then right click it and click “copy name.” To give it to yourself either do !give ^ item_name or !give name item_name. If they succeed and make it out then I would hold a part 2 at a later date. However if they failed I would have one be interrogated and they would give up the location of a rebel base. For an off-ship event I could make it a continuation of the on-ship where the troops would be tasked with getting info and liberating the base of all hostiles. One rebel could be captured and the troops would find the answer to why exactly they were sent onto the ISD. It could also give foreshadowing to future events I might hold. The events starts out like any Rebel Invasion event, You get 2-3 Rebel Actors to Sneak into the ship and Rain Havoc to the ISD, After a Certain point The GM who is making the Event(You) goes on radio saying something along the lines of "We have come to your ISD to Destroy you" which in turn instantly gets Comms Scrambled. The event goes on like normal until the event is almost over in that TL take out a Ship and it falls the wrong way and CRASHES INTO TL in which the ISD must repair and fix before Rebels start fleeing in again once TL is repaired the event will end.. Off-Ship Event: An ISB agent sends in a Distress Call/Message that barely reaches you.. The Message reads "Rebels... Invasion.....Hoth" . The ISB agent has been Ambushed by Rebels. It is the ISD's Mission to Avenge the dead ISB agent, The ISD's job is to Hyperspace to Hoth and Extract whereabouts on where they are going next, are they planning to attack other ISB's and overall Rebellion Information. Whilst on Hoth the Rebels notice that your ISD is unattended and free for the taking, which in turn they decide to send in a Rebel Fleet and attack you ISD, It is your mission to get off Hoth and save your ISD from being taken by The Rebels. A lot of people have doubted me as a Gamemaster, and I'd like to respectfully prove them wrong. Why should you be trusted to be a Game Master?: I believe I should be trusted because I have played on Imperial RP for almost 2 years now, and with Gaminglight a lot longer. I'm not gonna be arrogant and say everyone knows me, because quite honestly, they don't. (yet). I can be trusted because I am close to an NCO in SF. Yeah, maybe not that great, but it takes dedication to be able to go on a server for at least 6-7 hours a day. I haven't missed a day of playing this server since I started seriously playing recently. In about 4 days, I have gathered a day of playtime. Playtime means nothing, but still. I believe I could be trusted because spending a lot of time on a server is useless if your going to give it up to abuse, or not correctly do your job as a Gamemaster. There is a reason that we all take time and effort editing and being picky on these applications, it's because we genuinely want to become a GM. I can get vouches from a few staff members, if needed. I have been roles similar to it but they just name it differently. I was the event lead on a DarkRP server, and I helped run and generally manage the staff team there. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: On-ship event could be this: Recently, a lot of communication errors and general power issues have been taking place in areas that are critical to the ISD. We know this is planned because who or whatever is doing this is obviously going for main parts of the ISD, and all they have left is to shutdown the Bridge. If this happens, which we cannot let, our ship controls will malfunction and the ISD will explode. We have some information about who it could be. It has to be a member of our ranks, as no one else would be experienced with the advanced layout of the ship. We have a good suspicion it is someone with access to the Bridge, Brig, and ATC. These were all the main places effected by the attacks. Our sources say Naval, but you never know. Off ship event could be this: A rising rebellion group has been gathering at Hoth and had a meeting recently. Our sources say that this meeting plans on attacking the ISD. Our goal is to prevent them from being able to leave Hoth, for the ISD is vulnerable during a space battle especially to rebel bombers. The plan is to scout our enemies numbers, and assure our sources were correct. Palpitaine got too control the clone making a bit and put codes inside of the clones making them at a certain day, they will be trade they Jedi's, and there leaders, and make ORDER 66! Yoda a few months ago actually had the vision of it happening, but didn't try to tell anyone because he knew no of them would believe him. With this after we get back the ship, we get attacked from a rebel fleet hyper spacing into the space Area, we eventually get our own fleet in to defeat the rebel fleet with us. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: On-ship There would be 3 MC-80s hyper spaced in front of the ISD. The rebels would enter the ship. They would target the core. The core would get heavily damaged. The 31st would be injured leaving the core un repaired. The naval would have to be sent down to repair the core. The rebels would next target the engine room. Once again only one bomb would go off only partially damaging it. And one of the MC80s would be destroyed. The 31st would have fixed the core going to the engine room. The rebels would be attacking the bridge the DT would defend the bridge saving it from being destroyed by that a second MC80 would be destroyed and the engine room would be fixed. The rebels were on there last stand. 2 rebels have died 1 left. The last one was captured after that the last MC80 was destroyed. The rebel was interrogated for info and after that he was executed. (event end) Off-ship There would be a distress signal from hoth. Everyone would go to MHB for briefing. The distress signal was from a fallen ISD when we arrived on hoth and searched the area there was only 1 survivor. But it wasn't just us and him. There was rebels waiting to ambush. We would have to defend off from the rebels and escape the planet. After we escaped it would be bombarded by the ISD. After getting back on the ISD we would bring the fallen ISB member to the med-bay for a check up we would ask him for info on what happened and if it was either droids or rebels who took down the ISD. After he was fixed up we would leave him on his way or whatever he would do after that. We would then go to DB to finish up the mission. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: (Onship) This event will include everyone. We will be at the death star and then Rebels attack us. First it seems like there is little of them but then a capital class rebel ship comes out of the air space and with blockade runners that will crash into MHB cause a ton of rebels coming onto the ship. I will also get 5 actors that will have 2500hp and 255 shield with weapons not to overpowered but not to weak. They will be attacked and one of them will be captured. He will be a CMDR and will be held hostage and rebels will come pick him up. Soon after that once they pick him up the rebels leave. (Offship) We find out where a rebel base is and we go to attack it. It will be on a snowy map one we have been on before and we will send scout troopers on speeders to check out how many rebels are there. They will return with information and you will start your attack. These rebels will be holding one of our Fleet Admirals hostage and we rush to find him. He is held at brig but what we didnt expect was that this was a trap and rebels send out for help. Rebels come from the sky attacking the Empire so SF takes off. SF deals with X-wings and the ground troopers kill rebels and IF and DT have to recover the Fleet Admiral that is hostage. Soon the rebel are dead and the Fleet Admiral is safe and we go back to our ship. (Hostage is only done when I am trained for it so if I'm not trained I wont do hostage just the offship event of attacking rebels.) Do you know how to give a weapon/SWEP to yourself/someone? For an off ship event the Rebels that got onto the ship managed to get into the engine room and plant bombs causing our ship to take major damage and causing us to have to evecuate to a nearby planet. We need on the planet tatooine and find out that this is the planets command base we create a ground attack by sending the INQ in the front the 501st behind as well as the shock to be our main fighting force and the SF taking out the Rebel SF. We get into the base and find a Jedi master and it padawan we kill off the master and take the padawan to turn him/her to the dark side of the force/ Do you know how to give a weapon/SWEP to yourself/someone?
